2.10 Time Off Under Unusual Circumstances
2.10.1 General

On occasions of extreme weather conditions, ie snow, employees are required
to make every effort to attend work or if appropriate undertake their work
from home.
Payment for time off due to bad weather will not be made.
Where employees are unable to attend work for any other reason out of their
control, ie no power, heating, fire or flooding, payment for such days may be
authorised by the Managing Director and the decision made based upon the
circumstances surrounding the incident.
Where the Company sends employees home, due to unusual circumstances,
payment may be made, where no alternative solution can be sought.
