face it, none of us are mind readers. So to avoid receiving more toaster than you know what to do with, and ultimately
get you what you need be<strong>for</strong>e you tie the knot you should consider organizing a gift list. This will allow your loved
ones to see what you need and allow them to sign up to contribute. You can then save money on buying everything
you need (appliances, dishes, etc. etc.) to start your life together and focus on the task at hand...organizing your

and websites.
2.Be Your Own Planner
Hiring a wedding planner is the best way to take the load off and the easiest ticket to a stress-free wedding planning
experience. It can also cost a pretty penny, however, and if the money isn't there the money isn't there. For that
reason, it may be best to plan the wedding yourself. This doesn't mean you have to carry the burden alone, but you
will have to organize everything and make all the arrangements yourself. Fortunately, there are wedding planning
websites like Zola <strong>Wedding</strong>s and <strong>Wedding</strong>wire.com that offer various tools <strong>for</strong> free. There you can create a wedding
website, organize invitation, book catering services, venues, and everything else you'll need to get started. You can
have all the tools of a good wedding planner right at your fingertips and without the expense of paying someone to do

3.Do it All Yourself
As you take on the task of planning your own wedding if you really want to cut costs you may want to find a way to
make it all happen yourselves. Instead of a catered sit down consider putting together a potluck or an outdoor
barbecued aided by friends and family. Consider making your own decoration and printing and mailing your own
invitations. This can be a stressful ordeal but it can also be an exciting and rewarding experience, not to mention the

your wedding in a small family church or even in a rented church gymnasium where you can double the venues value
<strong>for</strong> a wedding and a reception in the same place. Most hotels will probably be too expensive but you could also
consider a courthouse wedding or if you're up <strong>for</strong> something outdoors try out a local park. Depending on your
municipality you may be able to rent a park pavilion <strong>for</strong> a day <strong>for</strong> a small fee or even <strong>for</strong> free if you are a local
taxpaying resident.
