Within the scope of “Citizen Observer” initiative, large scale monitoring of
parliamentary elections on April 2, 2017 was conducted:
“Voting Numbers Electronic Monitoring of 2017 Parliamentary Elections in Armenia”, was
conducted as a result of which a number of comprehensive databases of voting numbers
were created, the comparison of which with the monitoring on the voting day could reveal
possible misuses and falsifications during the election process.

On April 2, 2017 parliamentary elections, within the team of “Citizen Observer” initiative,
the “Transparency international anticorruption center” NGO conducted an observation
mission. As a result of the monitoring TIAC published “Report on Observation of
Parliamentary Eletmenia on April 2, 2017”.
During the pre-election campaign, electoral violations, including misuse of administrative
resources were monitored by 77 observers in Yerevan, in 10 provincial centers in the
republic, and in Martuni and Goris cities. Results of the monitoring studies and
