Dear <strong>OME</strong> readers!<br />
Welcome to the 2014 autumn edition of the<br />
<strong>OME</strong> magazine! We have put together a fantastic<br />
magazine for you with lots of different<br />
texts written by students from the 5th grade to the 8th<br />
grade. This year we also have a new editorial team, with<br />
only a few people remaining from last year’s team. The<br />
new members have worked really hard over the last few<br />
weeks and brought some fresh ideas to the magazine. It<br />
was great to have them as well as the “older” members on<br />
board!<br />
Inside the magazine you can read about this summer’s<br />
craze, the Ice Bucket Challenge, or about Budapest’s Secret<br />
Rooms. You can travel All Around The World with our articles<br />
on Bali, Africa or Slovenia, find out more about the<br />
recently successful Gömböc project and catch up on all the<br />
celebrity gossip.<br />
We hope you enjoy the last magazine of the year 2014 and<br />
we would like to thank Mr. Mayr and Mr. Atkins for his<br />
help and advice.<br />
Last year we had a photo competition about Budapest. This<br />
year we will have another one. The theme is: <strong>OME</strong> School<br />
You need to keep the following rules:<br />
* Someone needs to be in your photo.<br />
* Take portrait format pictures in the highest resolution<br />
possible and send it as a jpeg file<br />
* The picture needs to be taken either inside or outside the<br />
school.<br />
* You can photoshop it if you want.<br />
* You can send us max. 2 pictures but you need to highlight<br />
your favourite one.<br />
