Hi. I think you already know it, but I am
going to write about handball.
We start from the beginning. Handball
was created in Denmark. Actually it was
created at Ordrup Gymnasium which is
our neighbour school. Really cool.
It was the gym teacher, Holger Nielsen,
who found out that you could use a ball
to throw with your hands.
And now it’s almost known all over the
world.
If you would like to play handball, I
have listed the different age groups:
4-8 age group: Mini.
8-11 age group: Lilleput girls or boys
11-13 age group: Puslinge girls or
boys
13-15 age group: Girl players or boy
players
15-17 age group: Woman junior or
men junior
17-19 age group: Woman ynglinge or
men ynglinge
And then you are going to play handball
on TV, if your team is good enough.
You see, there is also some kind of talented
team we call the Danish men or
national women team.
They pick a player from a team they
think is good, and then they ask the
player if she/he will join the team. And
if the team is good enough they can
join the Olympic Games, European Cup
or World Cup.
And 6 weeks ago the men won the
European Cup, really, really nice!
I play handball 3 times at the week, in
the club H.I.K. The biggest we have
won, was the Danish Cup.

Her har jeg skrevet om håndbold.
Håndbold blev opfundet i Danmark, og faktisk på
Ordrup Gymnasium. Det var gymnastiklæren,
Holger Nielsen, der fandt ud af denne sport.
Jeg har også skrevet om aldersgrupper inden for
håndbold, hvis du har lyst til at starte.
Og sidst men ikke mindst har jeg skrevet om, hvordan
det fungerer med det danske landshold, og at
de vandt EM for nylig.
