Hyph ae hyalin e, thin-wall ed, 0.5-2 Il broad , more or less sinuous or<br />
coi led, with clam ps. Probasidial cell abse nt. Basid ia arising terminally from<br />
a hypha, cylind rical, curved or co iled, 2-3 Il broad , about 15-20 il long ,2-ce1led.<br />
Ste rigma ta 5-10 il long. Basidiospo res thin-walled, smooth, crescent,<br />
apiculate, 6-7 x 3-3.5 J/, non-am yloid, not cyanop hil ic, forming secondary<br />
spores. Conidia abse nt.<br />

Th is species is distinguished by the curved basidia with only 2 spores and<br />
th e coiled hyp hae. The fungu s is supposed to be parasitic beca use ofthe hyphae<br />
coi ling areund the hyphae of the host. Hau storia are not seen.<br />

2-4,5 il latae, nodul oso-sept atae. Bastdia basi biradi cata (ple uro-bas idia),<br />
medio sae pe angustata, (1 5)-35-50-(67) x 6-10il, 4 ster igmata 4-8 il longa<br />
gerentia. Basid iosporae subpyriformes vel fusoideae, tenu iter tunicatae, laeves,<br />
11 -17-(1 9,5) x 5,5-8,5 il, non-arnyl oideae.<br />
Fruitbody res upi na te, effused, ad na te, thin, a bo ut 60-75'il, waxy- pruinose,<br />
whitish; no margin. Lower hyphae parallel to the subst rate, th in-wall ed ,<br />
hyaline, rath er indistinct, 2-4.5 il br oad, with clamps. Basidi a borne on mor e<br />
or less horizontal hyphae (pleurobasidia), cylindrical, more or less constricted,<br />
(15)-35-50-(67) x 6-10il, with 4 ster igma ta 4-8 il long. Spore s pyriform to<br />
almost fusiforrn, srnooth, 11-1 7-(19.5) x 5.5-8.5 p, non-am yloid. Spo rewa ll<br />
slightly sta lned in cotton-blue.<br />
