Installation<br />
<strong>Hilti</strong> special characters and symbols<br />
To ensure that all users of the <strong>Hilti</strong> font make use of the same characters worldwide,<br />
you are required, with the aid of the glyph set, to copy the <strong>Hilti</strong>-specific characters such<br />
as mathematical or currency symbols and other special graphical characters to your<br />
computer. Please proceed as follows:<br />
▪ Install the <strong>Hilti</strong> font on your computer.<br />
▪ Load the <strong>Hilti</strong> glyph set: Copy the glyph set file “<strong>Hilti</strong> glyph set” to the following folder:<br />
Mac OS<br />
Macintosh HD\Users\[username]\Library\Preferences\Adobe InDesign\[Version]\Glyph Sets<br />
Windows XP<br />
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\[Version]\Glyph Sets<br />
Windows Vista<br />
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\[Version]\Glyph Sets<br />
Windows users please note: These are system folders and may be hidden on your PC unless Windows is configured to show them.<br />
▪ Start InDesign and check the glyph set.<br />
▪ Choose “Type” > “Glyphs” <br />
▪ In the “Glyphs” window, choose “Show” and “<strong>Hilti</strong> glyph set” . Compare the<br />
symbols shown on your screen with the illustration below <br />
