<strong>Computer</strong> <strong>Vision</strong> <strong>Engineer</strong><br />
Ihre Aufgabe<br />
Ihr Arbeitsgebiet umfasst den Entwurf und die Entwicklung von Echtzeit-<br />
Algorithmen in neuartigen, kamerabasierten Messsystemen zur Aufnahme von<br />
menschlichen Augenbewegungen.<br />
• Konzeption und Entwicklung von <strong>Bildverarbeitung</strong>salgorithmen<br />
• Erstellen von technischen Spezifikationen und Designs<br />
• Verifikation und Dokumentation der Entwicklungsergebnisse<br />
• Dokumentation, Test und Inbetriebnahme von Prototypen und Produkten<br />
Ihr Profil<br />
• Abgeschlossenes Studium oder Promotion der Informatik, Elektrotechnik,<br />
Nachrichtentechnik, Signalverarbeitung oder in einem vergleichbaren<br />
Studiengang<br />
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung<br />
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in der <strong>Bildverarbeitung</strong> und gängigen <strong>Bildverarbeitung</strong>sbibliotheken<br />
(z.B. OpenCV, IPP)<br />
• Exzellente Kenntnisse in C++<br />
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift erforderlich; sehr gute<br />
Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift wünschenswert<br />
Weiterhin ist wünschenswert<br />
• Erfahrung in der Entwicklung effizienter, zeitkritischer Algorithmen und<br />
deren Laufzeitoptimierung, sowie paralleler Datenverarbeitung und<br />
Multithreading<br />
• Erfahrungen in der Softwareentwicklung <strong>für</strong> Android oder Linux, aber<br />
auch Windows und Echtzeitbetriebssysteme<br />
• Erfahrungen im Bereich 3D Scene Reconstruction, Feature Based Image<br />
Registration, Real-time Dense Methods, Stereo Matching<br />
• Erfahrungen im Bereich probabilistischer Modellierungsverfahren (z.B.<br />
Monte Carlo Ansätze, SLAM, Structure from Motion)<br />
• Erfahrung in der GPU-Programmierung<br />
• Erfahrung in der Ansteuerung von Kameras auf Treiberebene<br />
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python (SciPy) oder Matlab<br />

Responsibilities<br />
Research and development of real-time algorithms to be used in innovative<br />
camera-based systems which measure, analyze and record human eye<br />
movements and properties.<br />
• Conception and development of <strong>Computer</strong> <strong>Vision</strong> algorithms<br />
• Analysis and preparation of technical specifications and designs<br />
• Verification and documentation of the development results<br />
• Documentation, test and realization of prototypes and final products<br />
Required Qualifications & Skills<br />
• Graduate (Ph.D. preferred) in <strong>Computer</strong> Science, <strong>Computer</strong> <strong>Engineer</strong>ing,<br />
Telecommunication <strong>Engineer</strong>ing, Electronic <strong>Engineer</strong>ing, Signal<br />
Processing, Mathematics, Physics or similar qualifications<br />
• Significant professional experience<br />
• In-depth knowledge of <strong>Computer</strong> <strong>Vision</strong> and related libraries (e.g.<br />
OpenCV, IPP)<br />
• Excellent proficiency in C++<br />
• Fluent English required (oral and written); fluent German highly desirable<br />
Preferred Qualifications / Desirable Skills<br />
• Experience in the development of efficient, time-critical algorithms and<br />
run-time optimization; parallel data processing, Multithreading<br />
• C++ software development experience in Android or Linux environments;<br />
Windows and real-time operating systems are acceptable too<br />
• Experience in 3D Scene Reconstruction, Feature Based Image<br />
Registration, Real-time Dense Methods, Stereo Matching<br />
• Experience in probabilistic data modeling (e.g. Monte Carlo simulation,<br />
SLAM, Structure from Motion)<br />
• Experience in camera driver development<br />
• Python (SciPy) or Matlab development knowledge/experience<br />
