You say you fear that I’ll forget you, But I can promise I won’t do. I’ll always remember the dreams we shared, And how you helped me when I was scared. Now that I found you, there’s nothing else to find. And I can assure you, you’re always on my mind. Don’t fear that you’ll lose me if we are apart, For you’re always in me, forever in my heart. I know you have to go, and unfortunately now But we’ll make it, yet I don’t know how. For I still believe in the vows we have made And my picture of you, I guess, will never fade. For me, you don’t have to play a role, Right as you are, you’re always in my soul. So don’t fear that you’ll lose me if we are apart, For you’re always in me, forever in my heart. May times get hard and life be bad, For me, there’s no longer a reason to be sad. ‘Cause I know that you still believe in the vows we made And my picture in you, I hope, will never fade. But there is something I want you to know And it sure is not easy for me to show: Please don’t let me lose you when we are apart, Let me always be in you, forever in your heart.
