- im Folgenden "FIS" genannt -
und
– im Folgenden die „Sorgeberechtigten“ genannt –
wird folgende Schulvereinbarung über die Aufnahme

an die Franconian International School getroffen:
§ 1 Mitgliedschaft im Verein Franconian
International School e.V.
(1) Durch Unterschrift dieser Schulvereinbarung
durch die Schulleitung und alle
Sorgeberechtigten des oben genannten Kindes
wird das Kind in die Franconian International
School aufgenommen.
(2) Die Sorgeberechtigten eines Kindes werden
durch Aufnahme des Kindes in die Franconian
International School ordentliche Mitglieder des
Vereins Franconian International School e.V..

§ 1 Membership in the Franconian
International School e.V.
(1) By signing this agreement between the
school’s management and all legal
guardians of the above named child, the
child’s admission to the Franconian
International School is confirmed.
(2) The legal guardians of the child will
become members of the Franconian
International School e.V. by admission of
their child to the Franconian International
School.

(3) Die Vereinssatzung ist auf der Website der FIS
einsehbar. Die Sorgeberechtigten sind an die
Regelungen der Vereinssatzung gebunden und
erkennen diese ausdrücklich an.
(4) Die Verantwortung für die Schulausbildung im
Ganzen, den erfolgreichen Abschluss der
Schulausbildung, die Beantragung und den
Übertritt in weiterführende Bildungseinrichtungen
(z.B. Universitäten) sowie die Bewerbung und
den Übergang in eine berufliche Ausbildung
obliegt ausschließlich den Sorgeberechtigten
des Kindes.
Die Sorgeberechtigten haben auch alle
anfallenden Kosten für die Vorbereitung des
Übertritts an eine weiterführende
Bildungseinrichtung, bzw. den Übergang in eine
berufliche Ausbildung zu tragen.
§ 2 Aufnahmeantrag und Rückmeldeantrag
(1) Der Aufnahmeantrag (Application Form) ist,
zusammen mit dem Academic Information Form,
Bestandteil der Bewerbungsunterlagen und von
den Sorgeberechtigten vollständig und
gewissenhaft auszufüllen. Jede Änderung der
darin enthaltenen Daten sind der FIS
unverzüglich mitzuteilen.
(2) Der Rückmeldeantrag (Re-Registration Form)
wird den Sorgeberechtigten jährlich
unaufgefordert zugesandt. Dieser dient zur
besseren Planung des folgenden Schuljahres
und soll möglichst umgehend, von den
Sorgeberechtigten ausgefüllt und
unterschrieben, an die FIS zurückgeschickt
werden.

(3) The Articles of Association of the FIS are
available on the FIS website. Legal
guardians are bound to the Articles of
Association and accept this explicitly.
(4) The responsibility for the school education
as a whole, applying for and the transition
to higher educational institutions (e.g.
universities) and the application and the
transition into vocational training is solely
up to the legal guardians of the child.
The guardians will bear all costs incurred
in preparation for the transition to an
institution of higher education or into
vocational training.
§ 2 Application Form and Re-registration
(1) The Application Form is, in combination
with the Academic Information Form, part
of the Application for Admission process
and the legal guardians are expected to fill
in the documents completely and
conscientiously. Any change of the data
therein must be reported to the FIS.
(2) The Re-registration Form will be sent
annually to the legal guardians. Its purpose
is to improve the planning for the next
school year. The form should be
completed and signed by the legal
guardians and returned to the FIS as soon
as possible.

§ 3 FIS Gebührenordnung
(1) Die FIS Gebührenordnung (FIS Fee Schedule)
der FIS regelt die Höhe und Fälligkeit aller
Schulgebühren sowie mögliche Nachlässe. Die
Sorgeberechtigten sind an die FIS
Gebührenordnung gebunden und erkennen diese
ausdrücklich an.
(2) Jeder der Unterzeichner dieser Vereinbarung
haftet gesamtschuldnerisch für die Zahlung der
Schulgebühren, unabhängig davon, ob eine dritte
Partei die Schulgebühren ganz oder teilweise
übernimmt.
§ 4 Probezeit
(1) Alle Schüler werden ausschließlich mit einer
sechsmonatigen Probezeit aufgenommen,
während der die FIS das Recht hat, die
Aufnahme des Schülers zu widerrufen, falls
dieser nicht die akademischen oder
disziplinarischen Anforderungen der Schule
erfüllt.
§ 5 Unterschrift und Gültigkeit
(1) Diese Schulvereinbarung muss von allen
Personen unterschrieben werden, die für das
angemeldete Kind das Sorgerecht besitzen,
unabhängig davon, ob sie mit dem
angemeldeten Kind in einer häuslichen
Gemeinschaft leben.
(2) Bei fehlenden Unterschriften oder Unterschrift
durch nicht sorgeberechtigte Personen des
angemeldeten Kindes werden diese
Vereinbarung sowie der Aufnahmeantrag
ungültig.
§ 3 FIS Fee Schedule

(2) The FIS Fee Schedule regulates the
amount and the due date of all school fees
and possible discounts. The legal
guardians are bound to the FIS Fee
Schedule and accept this explicitly.
(3) Each signatory of this school agreement is
jointly and fully liable for the payment of
fees, regardless if third parties assume
responsibility for part or all of them.
§ 4 Probationary Period
(1) All students admitted into the school are
accepted on a six month probationary
period during which the FIS has the right
to revoke admission should a student not
be meeting the academic and behavioral
requirements of the school.
§ 5 Signature and Validity
(1) This school agreement must be signed by
all persons, who have the legal custody for
the child, regardless whether they live with
the child or not.
(2) In case of missing signatures or signatures
by non-custodial persons of the child, both
this agreement and the child’s application
will become invalid.

(3) Auf diese Schulvereinbarung ist deutsches
Recht anwendbar. Als Gerichtsstand wird
Erlangen vereinbart.
(4) Die deutsche Version dieser Vereinbarung ist
bindend.

(3) This agreement is subject to German laws.
The jurisdiction is Erlangen.
(4) The German version of this agreement is
legally binding.
