ASSKEA M – Series units are divided into the
following groups according to their various
fi ttings:
Analogue (M20, M30) (Fig. 4)
On the stationary, or inpatient suction devices,
the vacuum control is on the secondary
air principle and this is also the case for the
analogue, mobile versions (for outpatient or
ambulance use). Both recharging and operation
take place using the 12V mains adaptor
supplied.
Digital (M20D, M30D) (Fig. 5)
The digital mobile versions have a touch fi lm
to use for setting the vacuum desired and to
control the vacuum by means of an electronic
sensor. Both recharging and operation
take place using the 12V mains adaptor supplied.
Digital unit with wall-holder (M20W, M30W)
(Fig. 5)
The digital mobile suction units which have
a wall-holder can also be charged or operated
via the contacts integrated into the wallholder
or via the mains adaptor. The vacuum
level is controlled digitally by means of an
electronic sensor.

2.3.3 Notes on the dual fi lter system

in the secretions will cause

• Never operate the unit without
its external bacterial fi lter. (Exception:
the “One Way” unit)
• At least one spare external
fi lter must be kept on hand
at all times.
The ASSKEA dual fi lter system consists of an
external fi lter and a fi lter integrated into the
unit itself. Both of these fi lters are hydrophobic
bacteria fi lters (hydrophobic means that
they reject liquid) and they are 99.999% effective
against bacteria and viruses.
The internal bacteria fi lter is used for all AS-
SKEA units of the S and M-Series.
The external fi lter is only necessary in tank
systems which do not use a hydrophobic fi lter
as overfl ow control. It is there to prevent
over-suction if mechanical overfl ow control
mechanisms should fail.
