3. Afterwards, rinse the container thoroughly
and let it dry. Using “Neodisher AN“ as
cleaner (manufactured by DR. WEIGERT),
it is also possible to clean the system components
in a specialised dishwasher if the
manufacturer’s instructions are followed.
4.1.5 Cleaning the hose accessories
1. Dispose of all hoses and bacteria filters
which are intended for once-only use.
2. Rinse out the silicone hoses or immerse
them in the customary disinfectant solution.
3. Afterwards, rinse the silicone hoses out
thoroughly and let them dry.
It is recommended that the hoses be exchanged
every four weeks, and for every
new patient using the aspirator.
4.2. Maintenance and servicing
• If the ASSKEA S and M-Series aspirators
are used in accordance with the user manual,
they require no maintenance.
• Each time they are used, carry out a visual
check and a check of functioning first. This
must include all the accessories of the relevant
unit.
• The opening up and, likewise, the repair
of the units is a matter solely for ASSKEA
GmbH or specialist staff authorised by AS-
SKEA GmbH who follow the servicing instructions
issued by the manufacturer and
take all necssary technicl and hygienic precautions.
• The unit may be returned to ASSKEA for
repair either direct or via the specialist distributor
from whom it was obtained.
• All accessories must be cleaned and disinfected
before return. The unit itself must be
treated with surface disinfectant.

4.3. Checking the ASSKEA M- and S-
Series aspirators
• The periodic inspections must always
comply with the currently applicable
regulations and directives
(such as IEC62353, 2007/47/EC, etc.).
• ASSKEA recommends that a safety
check (ASSKEA code: STK) be carried
out at least every 24 months.
• It is the equipment operator’s sole
responsibility to ensure the safety
check is carried out.
• ASSKEA GmbH offers partners and
customers rapid and professional
reconditioning, also any checks and
inspections necessary.
