Die Wiederaufbereitung der Getränkefässer erfolgt ausschließlich durch Wärmezufuhr.
Dabei werden die Mantelflächen für kurze Zeit auf 380°C erhitzt, um das
im Zeolith gebundene Wasser herauszudampfen und im Verdampferraum an der
kalten Bierblase zu kondensieren.

The inventive answer to the requirements of modern society concerning practical
and environmentally-friendly products comes from Germany: based on an effective
and chemicals-free technology, the self-cooling drink keg CoolKeg ® manufactured
by Cool-System provides the perfect temperature to any cold beverage in only 45
minutes time - and this totally independent of any power supply or further energy
sources.
The principle is based on the interaction of water and zeolite, a completely nontoxic
mineral which absorbs huge quantities of water when it is dry. The strong
acceleration of this process under vacuum exposure is such, that it causes the
production of ice. Therefore, the recyclable CoolKeg ® offers a convincing result
by the push of one single button.
The reconditioning of the kegs occurs exclusively by adding heat. The circumferential
surface is shortly heated up to 380°C in order to evaporate the zeolite bound to
the water, and to condensate it in the evaporation chamber on the cold beer bubble.
For the first time, CoolKeg ® 2001 by Cool-System has been presented to the international
public, and it has won all three significant packaging awards during the

The Ayinger brewery in the South-Eastern part of Munich is well-known for its

El Salvador might not be well-known to most Europeans. This name means “The
Saviour”, and it is hot – very hot. However, there are some things in that small
Latin American country which are also known to Europeans. People in El Salvador
prefer, for instance, the Pilsener beer. Already in 1906, the biggest brewery in
the country – Indústrias La Constancia, S.A. de C.V. – had begun to produce this
popular beer type which has become the market leader on the entire Central
American market. The brand is being traded by the SAB Miller Group.
As of Christmas 2007, El Salvador will have a further saviour: CoolKeg ® will save
