Mercedes Benz Sprinter - GTS-Generator im eingebauten Zustand

GTS bietet ein komplett einbaufertiges Unterflurmodell mit
GTS Generatoren der Baugröße BG 132 in zwei
unterschiedlichen Versionen an:
1. Vierpolige Generatoren die mit einer Drehzahl des zweiten
Nebenantriebs (PTO) von 1500 U/min angetrieben werden.
Das Leistungsspektrum der Generatoren reicht bei den
vierpoligen Generatoren von 10 bis 15 kVA.
2. Zweipolige Generatoren mit einem vorgebauten
Planetengetriebe, die mit einer Drehzahl des zweiten PTO
von 1000 U/min angetrieben werden. Das Leistungsspektrum
bei den zweipoligen Generatoren reicht von 8,5 bis 20 kVA.
Der GTS Generator läuft mit geringst möglicher
Motordrehzahl, wodurch sich auch Treibstoffverbrauch und
Geräuschemission des Fahrzeugs verringern. Insbesondere
das von GTS eingesetzte robuste Planetengetriebe bringt
dem Anwender im täglichen Einsatz unverzichtbare Vorteile.
Da es einen direkten Durchtrieb hat, braucht es keinen
winkeligen Wellenversatz und erreicht eine weit längere
Lebensdauer als herkömmliche Unterflurgetriebe bei
Generatoren.

Zurzeit wird eine Feldversion der Anlage getestet, die Anfang
nächsten Jahres serienreif werden wird. Da die neue Baureihe
abwärtskompatibel ist kann sie selbstverständlich auch auf ältere
iMAPLA- Modelle mit bestehenden MMIs etc. verwendet werden.

GTS– Technology for Service Vehicles
Saving space while generating power
GTS has developed a generator system with an underfloor
installation that saves space and enables mobile power
generation for a variety of possible needs – such as electrical
tools and air compressors for construction and canalization
site vehicles, TV broadcasting vehicles, equipment for fire
fighting vehicles or heating/cooling for mobile vendors. A
service vehicle with underfloor system is constantly equipped
with a tightly installed generator that is operated through an
hydraulic drive or a power take off (PTO).
GTS has specifically developed a reliable and compact
generator for underfloor uses. Service vehicles of the
so-called “sprinter class” with underfloor systems are limited
in terms of carrying capacity and low ground clearance.
Our underfloor systems generally weigh – depending on the
vehicle – below 80kg and are therefore lighter than
conventional emergency generators. In addition underfloor
generators can compensate the use of a mobile emergency
generators. This eliminates the need for maintenance and
extra fuels while saving storage space.
GTS offers a complete underfloor model – ready-to-install –
with GTS generators type 132 in two versions:
1. 4-pole generators that are powered by PTO with an
rpm-range of 1.500 U/min and have a range of nominal
capacity between 10 – 15 kVA.
2. 2-pole generators with pre-fitted planetary gear that are
powered by the second PTO and have a range of nominal
capacity between 8,5 – 20 kVA.
iMAPLA - Innovation
The new compact „20 kW iMAPLA“- System
GTS' intelligent magnet plate system (iMAPLA) has been a success
in material handling and sorting for over 10 years. More than 20 000
iMAPLA generators have proofed to be efficient in the field –
especially in heavy duty applications.
For the 20 kW range generators GTS has developed a special
product which is robust, durable, and compact at once. Excavator
manufacturers have struggled especially with the 20 kW series as the
generators are normally too large for being fitted into a material
handling machine. So far the series (BG132) is available on the
market only with a maximum of 17 kW.
GTS’ new 20 kW series has despite its more compact design an
efficient cooling system and a high life-expectancy. Additionally the
controlling for this machine was optimized - in order to make its use
even more efficient.
This specifically developed machine can be fitted into various
excavator types as its installation needs less space than previous
models. With this model the use of larger magnet plates in smaller
material handling machines will not cause any more problems.
At the RWM exhibition (Resource & Waste Management, 11-13
September, 2012) – Britain ’s largest recycling exhibition – potential
users had the opportunity to take a first look at the new magnet plate
system. Many visitors were impressed by the new series which can
soon be ordered from GTS.
Presently a field version of the system is being tested which will be
ready for production at the beginning of next year. Being downward
compatible the new series can be used with older iMAPLA- generator
models including MMIs etc.
