<strong>NACKT</strong><br />
Emilia und Felix, Annette und Boris, und Charlotte und Dylan sind seit Jahren<br />
eng miteinander befreundet. Die guten alten Zeiten sind aber längst<br />
vorbei. Emilia und Felix sind seit kurzem getrennt, worunter beide psychisch<br />
und finanziell leiden. Durch Spekulationen an der Börse im Jahr zuvor sind<br />
Dylan und seine schöne Frau Charlotte plötzlich reich geworden, ihre Beziehung<br />
wird jedoch immer armseliger. Einzig Annette und Boris scheinen<br />
nach wie vor glücklich verliebt zu sein – sind sie es aber wirklich?<br />
Und außerdem – was ist überhaupt Glück? Was ist Liebe? Wie können Männer<br />
und Frauen mit ihren jeweiligen Träumen und den zerstörten Hoffnungen<br />
umgehen? Wie teilen sie sich ihre innigsten Wünsche mit? Worum geht<br />
es denn überhaupt?<br />
Die sechs Freunde treffen sich zum Abendessen, doch Fröhlichkeit will sich<br />
nicht so recht einstellen. Da erzählt Emilia von einer Studie, bei der selbst<br />
Paare, die über 20 Jahre zusammenlebten, auf Fotos nicht mal die Hände<br />
des anderen identifizieren konnten. Sie wettet, dass die meisten Männer mit<br />
geschlossenen Augen nicht einmal ihre eigene Frau erkennen würden.Felix<br />
gießt Öl ins Feuer: Wenn sich alle so sicher seien, dann könne man ja eine<br />
Wette wagen. Können die Paare, nackt und mit verbundenen Augen, den<br />
jeweiligen Partner wirklich nicht identifizieren? Ein Experiment mit Folgen<br />
beginnt . . .<br />

Emilia and Felix, Annette and Boris, and Charlotte and Dylan have been<br />
close friends for years. But the good old days are long gone. Emilia and Felix<br />
have recently broken up and are still going through the pangs of separation.<br />
Felix is financially strapped whereas Dylan’s overnight success on the<br />
stock market has made him and his beautiful wife, Charlotte, fabulously rich<br />
though definitely not any happier. Annette and Boris seem happy enough<br />
at first glance – but are they really?<br />
And what is happiness anyway? What is love? How do men and women<br />
cope with each other’s dreams and dashed hopes? How do they communicate<br />
their deepest desires? Just what is it all about?<br />

Biografie<br />
Geboren 1955 in Hannover. Studierte<br />
Schauspiel, Philosophie und Psychologie in<br />
den USA, dann Film an der Hochschule für<br />
Fernsehen und Film in München, an der sie<br />
als Dozentin tätig ist. Außerdem ist sie eine<br />
bekannte Autorin von Romanen, Kurzgeschichten<br />
und Kinderbüchern. Inszenierte<br />
2001 die Oper „Cosi fan tutte“ an der Berliner<br />
Staatsoper; für <strong>2003</strong> ist eine Inszenierung<br />
von „Turandot“ geplant. <strong>NACKT</strong> basiert<br />
auf dem bei Diogenes erschienenen Buch<br />
„Happy. Ein Drama“ (2001).<br />

Munich, where she is also an instructor<br />
today. Doris Dörrie is also a celebrated writer<br />
of novels, short stories and children’s books.<br />
Directed the opera “Cosi fan tutte” at the<br />
State Opera in Berlin in 2001; a further<br />
opera production,“Turandot”, is planned for<br />
<strong>2003</strong>. <strong>NACKT</strong> (<strong>NAKED</strong>) is based on her<br />
drama “Happy” (2001).<br />

la philosophie et la psychologie aux<br />
USA, puis le cinéma à l’institut de la télévision<br />
et du film de Munich où elle est maintenant<br />
chargée de cours. Elle est par ailleurs<br />
auteur de romans, de nouvelles et de livres<br />
pour enfants. En 2001, mise en scène de<br />
l’opéra « Cosi fan tutte » au Berliner Staatsoper<br />

One night, the friends meet for dinner, but it doesn’t seem like fun anymore.<br />
Then Emilia tells them about a study in which they found out that even<br />
couples that have been together for more than twenty years couldn’t even<br />
recognize the hands of their partners. She bets that most men wouldn’t<br />
even recognize their own wife with their eyes closed. Felix pours oil on the<br />
fire: if they are all so sure, why not make a bet? Can the couples, if naked and<br />
blindfolded, really not identify their own partners? An experiment with<br />
unexpected consequences begins . . .<br />
<strong>NACKT</strong> (NU)<br />
Une amitié de longue date unissait Emilia et Felix, Annette et Boris, Charlotte<br />
et Dylan. Mais le bon vieux temps n’est plus. Emilia et Felix souffrent tous<br />
deux psychiquement et financièrement de leur séparation récente. Devenus<br />
riches du jour au lendemain à la suite d’heureuses spéculations boursières<br />
l’année précédente, Dylan et sa belle épouse Charlotte ne parviennent<br />
pas pour autant à sauver leur relation. Seuls Annette et Boris semblent<br />
amoureux comme au premier jour – mais le sont-ils vraiment ?<br />
D’ailleurs – qu’est-ce que le bonheur au fond ? Qu’est-ce que l’amour ?<br />
Comment les hommes et les femmes peuvent-ils conjuguer leurs rêves respectifs<br />
et leurs espoirs perdus ? Comment partagent-ils leurs plus profonds<br />
désirs ? De quoi s’agit-il au bout du compte ?<br />
Les six amis se retrouvent pour un dîner, mais la joyeuse complicité passée<br />
reste absente. Emilia leur parle alors d’une étude réalisée auprès de couples<br />
qui, après avoir vécu jusqu’à vingt ans ensemble, ne sont pas même<br />
capables de reconnaître les mains de l’autre sur des photos. Elle lance le pari<br />
que la plupart des maris ne seraient pas capables de reconnaître leurs<br />
femmes les yeux fermés. Felix jette de l’huile sur le feu : puisqu’ils sont tous<br />
aussi sûrs d’eux, pourquoi ne pas relever le défi ? Les couples nus, les yeux<br />
bandés, seraient-ils incapables d’identifier leurs partenaires respectifs ? Une<br />
expérience lourde de conséquences s’engage . . .<br />
