DIE LISTE DER INNOVATIVEN Highlights ist lang: Bereits 1990 bringt die
Novomatic den „American Poker II“ auf den Markt, der als „The Legend“ in
die Geschichte des Glücksspiels eingeht. Vier Jahre später wird die neue
Hardwareplattform ASIC (Applied Specific Integrated Circuit) entwickelt, die
die Spielautomaten revolutioniert und mit der 1997 entstandenen Casino-
Hardwareplattform Coolfire (Motorola Coldfire Risc Processor) wird der
endgültige Schritt des Glücksspiels in die Highend-Technologie gesetzt.
Bereits seit 1995 wird auch an der Realisierung der ersten „Multiplayer-
Maschinen“ gearbeitet, die die oftmals räumlich bedingte Begrenzung
der Spieleranzahl überwinden sollen. 1997 werden die ersten fertigen
Anlagen präsentiert. Der „Automatisierung“ des Roulettespieles folgt mit
der Entwicklung des „Novo Touchbet Roulettes“ die revolutionärste
Neuerung in der Geschichte des Roulettespiels und die erstmalige
Verknüpfung der Möglichkeiten der modernen Highend-Technologie mit
der Faszination der klassischen Casino-Live-Games. Bis zu 250 Spieler
gleichzeitig können von nun an bei einem Live-Roulettespiel mitsetzen
und -gewinnen. Damit gelingt der AGI die wohl weltweit meistbeachtete
Innovation und die Novomatic-Gruppe manifestiert ihren Ruf als hochtechnologischer

2001 WERDEN DIE Novo-Multi-Roulette- und Novo-Touchbet-Roulette-Anlagen
auf der ICE in London der Weltöffentlichkeit präsentiert.
Innerhalb eines Jahres werden allein in England Anlagen mit über 1000
Terminals installiert. Das Novo-Touchbet Roulette tritt seinen unaufhaltsamen
Siegeszug durch die Casinos Europas an und etabliert sich
auch in Australien und Afrika. 2002 folgt die Präsentation der Novo
Streamline auf der ICE 2002 und ein Jahr später wird die Novo Multi-
Screen Technology auf der ICE 2003 vorgestellt.
INZWISCHEN SIND Novo Multi-Roulette- und Novo-Touchbet-Roulette-
Anlagen mit über 2000 Terminals in den führenden Spielbanken der Welt
installiert, mit der Novo Triple Hot präsentiert Novomatic 2003 auch die
weltweit erste „Slotmachine“ für bis zu 250 Spieler.
MIT DER MULTISCREEN-TECHNOLOGIE und dem Gaminator, der 2004
auf der ICE Begeisterung auslöste, hat AGI ein weiteres Mal eine revolutionäre
Entwicklung eingeleitet und einen neuen Trend definiert. Perfektes
Gamedesign und technisches Trendsetting bilden die Basis der weltweiten
Vorreiterrolle. 25 Millionen Euro wurden allein in die Entwicklung der
Multiplayer-Anlagen investiert, zusätzlich zu den laufenden F&E-Aufwendungen.
Diese Anstrengungen haben sich bezahlt gemacht, denn heute sind

was launched in 1990 to wide acclaim and is today simply referred to as
“The Legend”. In 1994, the revolutionary ASIC (Applied Specific
Integrated Circuit) hardware platform was released. Only three years later,
in 1997, with the unveiling of the Coolfire (Motorola Coldfire Risc
Processor) platform AGI made its next significant contribution to making
gaming a high-tech industry. The development of the first multi-player
machines, a solution to the problem of space restrictions limiting the
number of players that can participate in a game, started as early as 1995.
In 1997 the first multi-player systems were presented. This initial automation
of the Roulette game lead to the development of Novo Touchbet
Roulette, the most revolutionary innovation in the history of Roulette
gaming and the first-ever blend of the possibilities of modern high-technology
with the fascination of the classic casino live games. Up to 250
players are able to participate in a live Roulette game from the comfort of
private player stations. Innovations such as these from the AGI stable
have garnered accolades worldwide and have consolidated the reputation
of the Novomatic Group as a leading-edge pioneer.
NOVO MULTI-ROULETTE and Novo Touchbet Roulette systems were
presented to the world at the ICE 2001 exhibition in London. Within a year,
systems totalling more than 1000 terminals were installed in England
alone. Novo Multi-Roulette and Novo Touchbet Roulette systems
totalling more than 2000 terminals have since been installed in leading
casinos all over the world. Novo Touchbet Roulette had set out on an
unstoppable triumphant march through Europe’s casinos and established
itself in Australia and Africa. 2002 saw the presentation of the Novo-
Streamline at ICE 2002 and a year later Novo Multi-Screen Technology
was launched at ICE 2003. With Novo Triple Hot Novomatic presented
the first-ever multi-player slot machine in 2003.
AGI AGAIN REINFORCED its position as trendsetter at the forefront of
revolutionary developments in the gaming industry with the presentation
of Multi-Screen Technology and the Gaminator at ICE 2004, which
generated storms of enthusiasm. Superior Game design and technical
trendsetting are the foundation of AGI’s leading edge worldwide. In addition
to current R&D expenditure, 25 million Euros have been invested into
the development of multi-player installations alone. Today, AGI’s products
are represented in most casinos around the world.
