Tapeten schreiben Geschichte – das
A.S. Création Archiv.
Bomig erhält ein Museum! In den Firmenräumen
wurde im September 2012 das A.S. Création-Archiv
eingeweiht. Manfred Tulke, als Werbefachmann seit
dem Unternehmensstart 1974 dabei, trug Fotos,
Texte, Tapeten und Begebenheiten zusammen
und gestaltete damit ein kleines Museum. „Anders
sein als alle anderen“, die Gründungsphilosophie,
und wie sie sich über die Jahre mit Leben füllte.
Schließlich gab es im Startjahr 1974 36 (!) weitere
deutsche Tapetenhersteller. So werden erinnert an
die Erfolgskollektion „New Look“ von Elsbeth Kupferroth
1982, berühmte Namen als Designer oder
Lizenzgeber - wie Karl Lagerfeld, Verner Panton,
Professor Dombrowski, Axel Venn, Senta Berger,
Hadi Teherani, Esprit, Porsche und Versace, aber
auch Umbrüche, Turbulenzen, neue Wege. Und nie
steht die Tapete allein –markante Ereignisse der
Zeitgeschichte runden das Bild einer fast 40-jährigen
Firmengeschichte ab.
Das A.S. Création-Archiv kann nach Absprache besichtigt

WALLPAPERS WRITE HISTORY – THE
A.S. CRÉATION ARCHIVE.
Bomig gets its own museum! In September 2012,
the A.S. Création-Archive was inaugurated on the
company’s premises. Manfred Tulke, an advertising
professional who has been part of the team since the
company was first launched in 1974, has gathered together
photos, texts, wallpapers and information on
events and created a mini-museum out of them. Its
theme is our founding philosophy of “Being different
from all others” and how this philosophy has been
filled with life over the years. After all, in our launch
year of 1974, there were 36 (!) other German wallpaper
producers on the market. Among other things,
the museum recalls the highly successful “New Look”
collection by Elsbeth Kupferroth of 1982 and some of
the famous names we have worked with as designers
or licensors - including Karl Lagerfeld, Verner Panton,
Professor Dombrowski, Axel Venn, Senta Berger,
Hadi Teherani, Esprit, Porsche and Versace - but also
changes and upheavals, and going down new roads.
And the wallpapers are never left standing alone –
key contemporary events that were happening in
the world at the time present a rounded picture of
almost 40 years of company history. The A.S. Création
Archive can be viewed by appointment. We look
