Technical Instructions
for the Remote power supplies
SN 1418, SN 15/500, SN 18/600 and SN 19/800 F
• All remote power supplies are equipped with energy saving
switch mode power supplies for the remote powering of
LNB´s by coaxial cable.
• For the remote powering of amplifiers (e.g. HNF..., HNV...,
MBV... or MVF 420 WSG) with 15 V via coaxial cable is the
model SN 15/500 recommendable.
• For the remote powering of the UniSystem Multiswitches
SMS 5598 U and SMS 9989 U with 18 V by coaxial cable the
model SN 18/600 is applicable.
• It is not allowed to exceed the maximum remote current value,
that is printed on the label.

SPAUN electronic confirms the keeping of the EMC
requirements in accordance to the EU product norm
EN 50083-2 and the keeping of the safety requirements
in accordance to the EU product norm EN 50083-1
by the CE sign.
The Remote power supplies meet the more stringent
screening requirements according to EN 50083-2,
quality grade A.
The models SN 15/500, SN 18/600 and SN 19/800 F are
equipped with an earthing terminal for connecting to the
main potential equalization.
Important: please observe the following instructions !
Installation is only permitted in dry rooms and upon a
non-combustible surface. Ensure that there is adequate
air circulation.
Wall mounting only with power supply housing at
left or right side of the device (horizontal mounting).
The permissible ambient temperature range is:
-20° C ... +50° C (253 K ... 323 K).
Electrical and electronic equipment are not house-hold
waste - in accordance with the European directive
EN 50419 (corresponds to the article 11(2) of the guideline
2002/96/EC) of the European Parliament and the Council
of January, 27th 2003 on used electrical and electronic
equipment, it should be disposed properly.
Please, on the end of its life cycle, take this unit and
dispose it on designated public collection points.

Technische Hinweise
zu den Fernspeise-Netzgeräten
SN 1418, SN 15/500, SN 18/600 und SN 19/800 F
• Alle Fernspeise-Netzgeräte verfügen über energiesparende
Schaltnetzteile und sind zur Fernspeisung von Low-Noise-
Blockkonvertern (LNB) über das HF-Kabel geeignet.
• Zur Fernspeisung von Verstärkern (z.B. HNF / HNV ..., MBV ...
oder MVF 420 WSG) mit 15 Volt über das HF-Kabel wird
die Ausführung SN 15/500 eingesetzt.
• Zur Fernspeisung von UniSystem Multischaltern SMS 5598 U und
SMS 9989 U mit 18 V über das HF-Kabel wird die Ausführung
SN 18/600 eingesetzt.
• Der auf den Geräte-Etiketten angegebene maximale Fernspeisestrom
darf nicht überschritten werden !

Mit der CE-Kennzeichnung bestätigt SPAUN die Einhaltung
der EMV-Anforderungen entsprechend der EU Produktnorm
EN 50083-2 und die Einhaltung der Sicherheitsanforderungen
entsprechend der EU Produktnorm EN 50083-1.
Die Fernspeise-Netzgeräte erfüllen die erhöhten
Schirmungsmaß-Anforderungen gemäß EN 50083-2,
Güteklasse A.
Die Typen SN 15/500, SN 18/600 und SN 19/800 F sind
zum Verbinden mit dem Hauptpotentialausgleich mit einer
Erdungsklemme ausgestattet.
Wichtig: alle nachfolgenden Hinweise
vollständig durchlesen und beachten.
Die Montage ist nur in trockenen Räumen und
auf nicht brennbarem Untergrund zulässig.
Netzgespeiste Geräte ausschließlich waagerecht
(Netzteil links oder rechts) montieren, um eine
ausreichende Luftzirkulation zu erzielen.
Vorsicht bei Montage in Schalt- bzw. Zählerkästen !
Die zulässige Umgebungstemperatur beträgt:
-20° C ... +50° C.
Elektronische Geräte gehören nicht in den Hausmüll,
sondern müssen - gemäß der Richtlinie DIN EN 50419
(entspricht dem Artikel 11(2) der Richtlinie 2002/96/EG)
des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates vom 27.
Januar 2003 über Elektro- und Elektronik -Altgeräte -
fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Bitte, geben Sie dieses
Gerät am Ende seiner Verwendung zur Entsorgung an
den dafür vorgesehenen öffentlichen Sammelstellen ab.
