First impressions count
Foyers and entrance areas connect the
outside with the inside. As places of
reception and representation, they are
much more – they help define our first
impression and are extremely important
for an atmosphere which should
encourage work, exchange and cooperation,
as well as for the success
of a business.
In these intersections, coat stands assume
an important role. In the dynamics
of the comings and goings they act
as a stabilizing point and offer protection
against the weather, a reliable
place for safe-keeping. They are eyecatching
– and help to determine the
first impression.

Symbiose von Anmutung

Minimalistisch, elegant und wertbeständig
– die schwebend leicht
wirkende Garderobe ist reduziert
gestaltet und präzise verarbeitet.
Und sie verwirklicht die Anforderung,

Nachhaltigkeit ihrer Projekte stellen.
Das hochwertige Aluminium,
aus dem die Garderobe gefertigt
wurde, verleiht ihr eine zeitlos edle
Anmutung – und eine Stabilität über
Jahre hinweg. Nicht sichtbare Verschraubungen
unterstreichen den
Eindruck von Leichtigkeit und lassen
ihre Bestandteile wie aus einem
Guss erscheinen.
Auch für Ablagen und Boden waren
die Langlebigkeit und Unempfindlichkeit
des Materials ausschlaggebend.
Das durchgefärbte schwarze
Laminat des Bodens besteht aus
einem Schichtmaterial, das unter
Hochdruck zu einer Einheit verbunden
wurde. Die so entstandene
Oberfläche ist kratzfest und feuchtigkeitsresistent
– und sie behält
ihren seidenen Glanz.
Symbiosis of appearance
and material
Minimalist, elegant and lasting
in value – the coat stand appears
light, almost as though it is floating,
and features a reduced design
and precise workmanship. It
also fulfils the standard of enduring
quality which Foster + Partners
place on their projects. High quality
aluminium gives it a timeless
and elegant appearance – and a
stability that will last for years. Invisible
screw connections reinforce
the impression of lightness and allow
the different components to
appear as one.
The durability and resistance of the
materials used was also decisive for
the trays and bases. The solid black
laminate of the base is made of a
stratified material which was formed
into one unit under high pressure.
The resulting surface is scratch and
moisture proof – and also retains
its attractive silky sheen.

In der Ecke wie im Raum
ein Hingucker
Schirmständer stehen für Nässe
und Regen und meistens in der
Ecke. Diese Ausführung braucht
sich auch bei strahlendem Sonnenschein
nicht zu verstecken. Er ist von
zeitloser Ästhetik und macht eine
gute Figur – in Eingangsbereichen
wie mitten im Raum.
In der mit abgerundeten Ecken harmonisch
geformten und leicht zu
entnehmenden Schale sammelt sich
das von den Schirmen tropfende
Wasser. Durch eine umlaufende
Rille in ihrer vertieften Bodenfläche
bietet sie zusätzlichen Halt und
auch einer größeren Anzahl von
Schirmen Platz.
An eye-catcher whether
in the room or in the corner
Umbrella stands represent wetness
and rain and usually stand alone in a
corner. This model does not need to
be hidden, even if the sun is shining!
It features a timeless aesthetic design
looking good in entrance areas as
well as in the middle of the room.
Any water which drips down from the
umbrellas is collected in the harmoniously
shaped and easily removable
tray with rounded corners. The ridge
which runs around the surface offers
a secure hold and space for many umbrellas.

Elemente wie die mit vier Haken

die Möglichkeiten der Raumgestaltung

gestaltet, lassen sie sich flexibel in
das Interieur einfügen und setzen
ästhetische Akzente.
Den unmittelbarsten Kontakt zu unserer
Garderobe haben die Kleiderbügel.
Sie bestehen aus einem sehr
hochwertigen und festen Kunststoff
und geben der Kleidung sicheren
Halt. Dank ihrer glatten Oberfläche
gleiten uns Jackett oder Mantel
beim nächsten Ortswechsel leicht
entgegen, und eine drehbare Aufhängung
sorgt zudem dafür, dass
sich das eigene Kleidungsstück zwischen
einer Vielzahl weiterer schnell
finden lässt.
Flexible solutions
Elements such as the aluminium rail
with its four hooks and individual
mounted hooks complement the
coat stand system. They complement
the possibilities of room organisation
and can also be used in
smaller confined units. Designed
ergonomically and simply, they
blend into the interior and strike
an aesthetic note.
The coat hangers have the closest
contact to your garments. They are
made out of a very high quality and
robust plastic and provide garments
with a secure hold. Thanks to their
smooth surface, your jacket or coat
easily glides off when you collect
them. A bracket ensures that individual
items can be easily found
amongst many.
