JAHRESBERICHT BHAK/BHAS HORN 2007/08Our week in CambridgePia Groll 2AKThe 26 th of March was a very exciting day for the 2 nd classes. We went to Cambridge byplane. When we arrived at the airport London/Heathrow, we had to go to Cambridge by bus.At Studio Cambridge, the school which we attended, we had to waitfor our taxis which took us to our host families. The next morningeveryone had to find his/her way back to Studio Cambridge. Nearlyeverybody managed to do so, but of course some of us were late.To get to know Cambridge, we made an orientation tour throughCambridge with tour guides. The tour was very interesting; we wereable to take photos and to find something out about the history ofCambridge and the colleges.On Friday we went to the Cathedral of Ely by train. The weather was not so good, butnevertheless the trip was very interesting. There we also took our group photo.During the week, we had to go to school. We made some grammar exercises and spoke aboutmany topics. At the end of our time at Studio Cambridge we got an English Certificate.In our free time we went to McDonald’s or shopping. Some of us did so every single day.On the weekend we went to London. We walked along Oxford Street, did some sightseeingand we also saw the musical “Blood Brothers”.On Monday evening we went bowling. This was a very funny experience for us. EvenMs. Postl was bowling. Actually her group was very good!On our last day we went to Windsor to see the Castle. The weather was bad and so was ourmood, because our time in England was drawing to an end. All in all it was a very exciting,eventful and funny week and it is a pleasure for us to think back to it!!- 13 -
