apartments, dotted about the area of
the Cantina. The old Tuscan villas accommodate
two to eight people. But no matter
where you wish to stay in the end, in Colombaio,
Cornia or Vinci, we can assure
you'll be about to experience the holiday of
a lifetime! And while the swimming pools of
Colombaio and Cornia look tempting, you
might also want to hop in the big lake in
Vinci.
How attached the owner Werner Wilhelm is
to the Palio of Sienna (s. p. 12) becomes
clear by reading out the names of his apartments.
Each named after a Contrade symbol:
Torre (tower) and Aquila (eagle) in Colombaio,
Lupa (she-wolf), Oca (goose), Istrice
(porcupine) and Giraffa (giraffe) in Cornia
and Tatuca (turtle), Nicchio (shell), Leocorno
(unicorn), Drago (dragon), Pantera
(panther) and Onda (wave) in Vinci – all
names from Sienese districts.
Finally, an information for all of you who
would like to spend their special holiday at
another time than summer, which is the
peak season anyway: All holiday homes are
equipped with German standard windowand
heating system. That’s why you'll feel
right at home, even in the winter.
