All external metal surfaces should be treated with a gun oil that<br />
creeps under moisture and does not emulsify.<br />
For the scope mount and all movable parts, special permanent<br />
lubricants are recommended. Make sure to always keep the scope<br />
mount free of any contamination, in particular, the pivot pin of the<br />
front base and the mechanical parts. Grease slightly from time to<br />
time.<br />
It is recommended to use a different type of oil for cleaning and<br />
for preservation or greasing.<br />
CAUTION!<br />
The use of gun care products and cleaning agents as well as insect<br />
repellents containing solvents may change or even damage the<br />
synthetic parts.<br />
