IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH
Die IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH ist eine neutrale und unabhängige Ingenieurgesellschaft mit
weit gefächertem Know-how und Sachkompetenz auf dem Gebiet des mechanischen Engineerings und
speziell den Fachgebieten Fördertechnik sowie Schienen- und Spezialfahrzeugbau. Sie verfügt über
langjährige Erfahrungen bei der Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von experimentellen Messund
Prüfdienstleistungen, auf dem Gebiet der rechnerischen und experimentellen Strukturanalyse (Ingenieurdienstleistungen)
sowie der Messung mechanischer Größen wie Beschleunigung, Weg, Kraft
und der Dehnung.
Die Ingenieurgesellschaft ist sowohl mit modernen Messsystemen und Auswertetechnik für den Laborund
Feldeinsatz als auch mit nunmehr drei Prüfhallen und einer großen Anzahl von Schwingprüfmaschinen
(servohydraulische Prüfanlagen, Pulsationsmaschinen, Drehgestellprüfstände) ausgestattet.
Dieses Potenzial befähigt die IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH in ihrer Prüfstelle für Schienenfahrzeuge
u.a. zur Durchführung von Wagenkastenprüfungen nach DIN EN 12663 und zu Lebensdauerprüfungen
an Drehgestellrahmen nach DIN EN 13749. Zum Arbeitsgebiet zählen ebenfalls Pufferprüfungen
nach DIN EN 15566 und Schwingtests an Anbauteilen. Die Kompetenz für deren sach- und
qualitätsgerechte Ausführung hat die Prüfstelle in wiederholten Audits gegenüber dem zuständigen
Akkreditierungssystem nachgewiesen, so dass sie auch international als Prüfstelle zugelassen wurde.
Mit dem Status eines nach DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 akkreditierten Prüflabors sind die Vorraussetzungen
für eine Anerkennung durch das Eisenbahn-Bundesamt Bonn (EBA) bei Zulassungsprüfungen gem. §32
EBO (Bahnzulassung) gegeben.
The IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH is a neutral and independent engineering company with a
broad base of know-how and specialist skills in the field of mechanical engineering, especially in the
specialist fields of materials handling technology and rail and special vehicles. IFF Engineering & Consulting
GmbH has many years of experience in the field of rail vehicle engineering and with regard to
the planning, execution and assessment of experimental measuring and testing services, in the sector
of calculated and experimental structural analysis (engineering services) as well as the measurement
of mechanical values, acceleration, distance, force and strain.
The engineering company is not only equipped with state-of-the-art measuring instruments and assessment
technology for laboratory and field analyses but has henceforth also three testing halls and a
large number of fatigue testing machines (servo-hydraulic testing facilities, pulsation equipment, bogie
test stands) at its disposal.
Owing to this potential, IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH is empowered, inter alia, to carry out car
body tests according to DIN EN 12663 and life tests of bogie frame according to DIN EN 13749 in their
own laboratory. Buffer tests according to DIN EN 15566 and vibration tests on attachments are also
part of the service. In repeated audits, the test laboratory has proved its competence to the responsible
laboratory accreditation system demonstrating that the tests are done properly and in a high quality,
so that it was internationally approved as a test laboratory. Due to its status as an accredited test
laboratory acc. to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, the requirements have been satisfied to be recognized by the
German Federal Railway Authority [Eisenbahnbundesamt Bonn - EBA] for admission tests pursuant to
Section 32 EBO (railway authorities licence).
