Ernest Hemingway è uno degli
scrittori, giornalisti e romanzieri più
innovativi ed influenti del XX secolo
che, per di più, usava scrivere con
penne Montegrappa.
Evocando lo spirito del viaggio, la
penna Il Viaggiatore in celluloide
Nero Charcoal è ornata da disegni
di aeroplani, mappe e passaporti,
e riporta evidenziati 11 dei luoghi a
lui associati. Con questa penna si è
voluta ricordare l’epoca in cui viaggiare
era un’avventura. Simbolicamente, il
tragitto tracciato ha la sua partenza
dall’aeroporto più vicino alla sua città
natale ed il suo termine nell’aeroporto
più vicino al suo luogo di morte. Una
bussola trova posto sulla sommità
del cappuccio, mentre la silhouette
di un aeroplano è ripetuta più volte
sulla clip e sul fusto, un faro sul mare
abbellisce il fondello e un timone a
ruota è posizionato centralmente.
Ogni modello della serie è prodotto in
soli 100 esemplari. Oltre alle edizioni
in Argento Sterling, 10 esemplari di
ogni tipo di penna sono realizzati con
minuterie in Oro massiccio 18k.
The Traveller
Ernest Hemingway was one of
the most innovative and influential
writers, reporters and novelists of
the 20th century, one who wrote,
coincidentally, with Montegrappa
pens.
Evoking the spirit of the voyage, The
Traveller in Charcoal Black celluloid
is adorned with airplanes, maps and
passports, with 11 of his associated
locations highlighted. It is reminiscent
of the era when travel was an
adventure, the symbolism of the
design showing the “starting” airport
is the nearest airport to his birthplace
while the other is the nearest airport
to his place of death. A compass
resides on the cap top, a repeating
airplane motif dresses the clip and
barrel, a sea light tower features on
the barrel end and a boat steering
wheel is positioned centrally.
Each model of the series is limited
to 100 exclusive items per model.
In addition to the Sterling Silver
editions, 10 pens of each type are
trimmed with 18k solid Gold.
