In unserer Strickmanufaktur in Dornbirn, im Herzen Mitteleuropas,
entstehen seit 1973 hochwertige Strickwaren und Jerseys. Wir fertigen
keine Massenprodukte, sondern zeitlose Lieblingsteile. Denn die beste
Art, nachhaltig zu wirtschaften ist, Dinge zu machen, die Bestand haben.
Familiensache. Hinter dem Namen Phil Petter steht die Familie
Petter. Das sind Kurt und Corinna und deren Tochter Anja und ein
eingeschworenes Team von hochqualifizierten Mitarbeitern.
Wir sind Strickspezialisten und machen nur das, worin wir stark sind.
Wir legen großen Wert auf die Qualität jedes einzenen Kleidungsstücks,
welches unseren Betrieb verlässt. In jedem Produkt steckt viel Zeit in der
Entwicklung und noch mehr Liebe zum Detail.
Sorgfältig ausgewählte Rohstoffe. Wir verarbeiten ausschließlich
mitteleuropäische Rohstoffe von höchster Güteklasse. Wir verfolgen
ökologische Aspekte und gehen achtsam mit Ressourcen um. Trotz
steigender Rohstoffpreise machen wir keine Kompromisse, wenn es um
den Materialeinsatz geht.

Our knitwear manufactory in Dornbirn, located in the heart of Central
Europe, has been turning out high-quality knitwear and jerseys since 1973.
We do not manufacture mass products, but timeless favourite pieces. The
best approach to sustainable business is to create items that stand the test
of time.
A family matter. The Petter family are the people behind the name Phil
Petter. The family consists of Kurt and Corinna, joined by their daughter
Anja, and a dedicated team of highly qualified employees.
We are knitwear specialists who exclusively do what we do best. We attach
great importance to the quality of every single item of clothing that leaves
our factory. A great deal of time is invested in the development of each
product, and even more care is devoted to detail.
Carefully selected raw materials. We exclusively process Central
European raw materials of the highest standard while observing ecological
principles and being mindful of resources. Despite rising raw material prices,
we refuse to compromise with regard to the materials we use.
Perfection. We are driven by perfection, so our manufactory knits at a
level of quality that is unparalleled. The craftsmanship involved in applying
traditional and modern techniques forms the foundation for our honest,
authentic product. We do not treat sustainability as a hollow phrase; it is a

stammt aus Alashan, der Inneren
Mongolei, wo es die weltweit

unglaublich flauschig. Der Fit ist
modern, hat etwas mehr Weite

small, refined range of carefully
conceived modern cashmere styles.
We neither use ordinary cashmere
nor recycled yarn, as our cashmere
sweater is meant to last a lifetime
while retaining its beauty over time.
Our premium cashmere is sourced
from Alashan, Inner Mongolia,
where the world’s finest cashmere
fibres can be found. In typical Phil
Petter fashion, we knit the yarn tight
enough to ensure sturdiness and
durability, whilst still maintaining
an incredibly soft and fluffy feel. The
fit is modern, offering a little more
width and a French raglan shoulder
for a beautiful drape.

MERINO FACTS
Great characteristics of wool
Natürlich. Merinowolle wächst auf dem
Rücken von Australiens über 70 Millionen
Schafen auf ganz natürliche Weise das ganze
Jahr über.
Erneuerbar. Jedes Jahr bekommen die
Schafe ein neues Vlies und somit ist Wolle
eine komplett erneuerbare Faser.
Biologisch abbaubar. Wolle zersetzt sich
in nur wenigen Jahren auf natürliche Weise
vollständig im Boden.
Natürlich atmungsaktiv. Merinowolle ist
eine der atmungsaktivsten Naturfasern.
Wollfasern können große Mengen an Feuchtigkeitsdampf
absorbieren und nach außen
an die Luft weitergeben. Damit sorgt sie für
ein ständiges Feuchtigkeitsmanagement.
Wärmeregulierend. Merinowolle ist eine
aktive Faser, die auf jegliche Änderung der
Körpertemperatur reagiert. So bleibt Mann
bei kaltem Wetter warm und bei warmem
Wetter kühl. Außerdem ist Merinowolle geruchsneutral,

fibres can absorb large amounts of moisture
vapour and wick it away into the air. This
ensures constant moisture management.
Temperature-regulating. Merino wool is an
active fibre that reacts to any change in body
temperature. As a result, it keeps you warm
in cold weather and cool in warm weather.

dirt-repellent and easy to clean.

What makes Phil Petter so
special is that we always employ
a very finely spun yarn as the
foundation of our knitwear. This
yarn is used to manufacture the
entire merino programme, from
fine knits to multi-threaded
coarse knits. The fantastic aspect
of the range is that the colours
remain the same throughout,
resulting in perfect harmony. The
fact that Phil Petter utilises up to
15,000 metres of yarn in a coarse
merino knit is unprecedented.

traditional Italian spinning mills. Our merino wool is processed in the
accustomed Phil Petter manner in the optimum density to create
long-lasting, valued essentials without expiration dates – always
different, always reimagined. Special knits are our metier. This season
features intriguing bicolour structures as well as tightly knitted royal
stitch patterns.

Prepare for the great outdoors
Materialmix in Perfektion. Man sieht ganz
viele Hybride. Perfekt gemachte Zippjacken,
Gilets und Overshirts mit leicht wattierten
Nylon-Steppfronten. Der Mix von Strick mit
reinem Wollwalk im Alpin Stil ist hingegen
etwas rustikaler. Diese Saison wurde ein
besonderes Augenmerk auf perfekt sitzende
Kragen, Detailarbeit und Funktionalität gelegt.
Material blends in perfection. Hybrids are the
flavour of the day. Impeccably crafted zipper
jackets, gilets, and overshirts featuring lightly
padded, quilted nylon fronts. The combination
of knitwear with pure boiled wool in alpine
style, on the other hand, is a little more rustic.
This season, special attention has been
devoted to perfectly fitting collars, detail work,
and functionality.

BABY ALPACA
Ultra-lightweight luxury sweatshirts
Baby Alpaka ist eine der feinsten Fasern der Welt und wird aus der Wolle
am Hals von jungen Alpaka Kamelen gewonnen. Das Schöne an Alpaka
ist die haarige Flauschigkeit, die nicht nur wärmt, sondern auch ganz viel
Effekt erzeugt. Wir nutzen diese Eigenschaften und machen daraus edel
gestrickte Sweaties, die alle Attribute des klassischen Sweatshirts vereinen:
lässige Weite, markante Raglanpassform, hohe, feste Strickbündchen.
Besonders ist die Strickart: Doubleface verstricken wir
außen das feine Alpakagarn und innen - mit luftigen Flottungen - feine
Merinowolle in Kontrastfarbe. So erhält der Strick viel Volumen, ohne
schwer zu sein und einen enorm hohen Tragekomfort.

is one of the finest fibres in the world. The beauty of alpaca lies in its soft
fluffiness, which not only keeps you warm, but also creates quite an effect.
We harness these properties to create elegantly knitted sweaties that
combine all the attributes of the classic sweatshirt: casual width, distinctive

Nur das Beste ist uns gut genug. Wir verwenden diese Saison wieder den
hochwertigsten reinen Merino Wollwalk vom Südtiroler Walk Spezialisten
Moessmer. Gekochte Wolle, 500 Gramm pro m2, edel gepresst im Finish.
Wasserabweisend, wärmend und winddicht bietet diese Qualität ganz
viele natürliche Features. Unser Favorit in dieser Qualität ist der neue Parka
mit Kapuze und Druckknöpfen, ein moderner Klassiker das edle Overshirt.
Alle Teile sind Taglio Vivo, mit akkuraten Kanten und ganz viel Handwerkskunst
und Exaktheit verarbeitet.
Only the best will do. This season we are once again opting for the highest quality
of pure merino boiled wool supplied by South Tyrolean specialist Moessmer:
boiled wool, 500 grams per square metre, with a beautifully pressed finish.
Water-repellent, warming, and windproof, this fabric offers a host of natural
features. Our favourite in this quality is the new hooded parka with press studs,
while the elegant overshirt represents a modern classic. All pieces are Taglio
vivo, with accurate edges and processed with craftsmanship and precision.

Jede Saison sind wir auf internationalen Stoffmessen unterwegs um
neue, kreative Qualitäten zu finden. Diesmal haben wir einen besonderen
reinen Wollwalk mit interessanter Seersucker Struktur aufgespürt. Die
Ware hat nicht nur viel Optik, sondern ist zudem noch voluminös, leicht
und supersoft. Wir fabrizieren daraus neue Cardigans mit aufgesetzten
Taschen genauso wie neue Jacken-Typen – hoch geknöpft ein Hybrid aus
Overshirt und Blazer.

qualities. This time, we have discovered a special pure boiled wool with an
interesting seersucker structure. The fabric not only looks great, but it is also
voluminous, light, and super soft. We convert it into new types of cardigans
with patch pockets, as well as new types of jackets - high-buttoned hybrids
of overshirts and blazers.
