Neuro-psychiatric disorders
-Tic-disorders: 20-40 %
⇒ could HI-subtype with family history of tics be early manifestation of
TS?
(ADHD-symptoms may appear several years before tics)
-bipolar disorder and classic autism: 10 %?
-OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)
-autism spectrum : 20 %
⇒ means that in PDD, ADHD is very common
-ODD: 60 % (oppositional defiant disorder)
-CD: 30 % (conduct disorder)
-depression 30 % (many teenagers with depression have ADHD)
-anxiety: 20 %
-psychoses: 5 %
-personality disorder: 40 %
⇒ probably most common adult psychiatric “misdiagnosis”
-eating disorders: 5 %
