Over the next two years the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) will be preparing
a set of general environmental objectives. These will be specified in detail for
sectors that are in a position to make a substantial contribution to the achievement of
the general objectives. The present report outlines the environmental objectives for the
first of these sectors, agriculture, in the four areas of biodiversity and landscape, climate
and air, water, and soil. The objectives have been determined in collaboration
with the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG). They are based on existing legal
requirements as reflected in various acts, ordinances, international treaties and decisions
of the Federal Council.
Das Bundesamt für Umwelt (BAFU) erarbeitet in den kommenden zwei Jahren ein
Umweltzielsystem. Dabei werden allgemeine Umweltziele definiert und für diejenigen
Sektoren spezifiziert, welche einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Zielerreichung leisten.
Der vorliegende Bericht präsentiert für die vier Bereiche Biodiversität und Landschaft,
Klima und Luft, Wasser sowie Boden die Umweltziele für den ersten Sektor, die
Landwirtschaft. Diese Umweltziele wurden zusammen mit dem Bundesamt für Landwirtschaft
(BLW) erarbeitet. Sie basieren auf bestehenden rechtlichen Grundlagen wie
Gesetzen, Verordnungen, internationalen Abkommen und Bundesratsbeschlüssen.
Dans les deux prochaines années, l’Office fédéral de l’environnement (OFEV) élaborera
un système d’objectifs environnementaux. Il s’agira de définir des objectifs environnementaux
généraux qui seront ensuite précisés pour les différents secteurs contribuant
largement à les atteindre. Le présent rapport détaille les objectifs pour le premier
secteur, l’agriculture, dans quatre domaines: biodiversité et paysage, climat et air, eaux
ainsi que sol. Ces objectifs environnementaux ont été élaborés en collaboration avec
l’Office fédéral de l’agriculture (OFAG). Ils reposent sur des bases légales existantes
telles que lois, ordonnances, conventions internationales et arrêtés du Conseil fédéral.

di obiettivi ambientali. In tale ambito saranno definiti gli obiettivi ambientali generali, i
quali saranno specificati in funzione dei settori che contribuiscono in modo determinante
alla loro realizzazione. Il presente rapporto illustra gli obiettivi ambientali relativi
all’agricoltura, nei quattro comparti seguenti: biodiversità e paesaggio, clima e aria,
acqua e, infine, suolo. Gli obiettivi ambientali saranno elaborati congiuntamente con
l’Ufficio federale dell’agricoltura (UFAG) e sono basati sulle norme giuridiche vigenti,
ovvero su leggi, ordinanze, convenzioni internazionali e decreti federali.
