After much prodding and schmoozing, I was<br />
able to gather information from most of you –<br />
and I thank you for shating.<br />
1. Rumor has it that the Comers and the<br />
Severances are taking a cruise to the<br />
Panama Canal at the end of this month.<br />
The Panama Canal is a place I have<br />
always wanted tto see, so be sure and fill<br />
me in when you come home!<br />
2. It seems that Ed Kroecker has been<br />
playing in the water in his backyard!<br />
While cleaning his Koi pond, he felt a<br />
little dizzy and accidentally fell in the<br />
pool. Joycesays he has recovered and is<br />
planning tto continue work in his back<br />
yard.<br />
3. Debbie Garrison tells me that Keith has<br />
been under the weather. It seems he has<br />
had a bout with the gout. (No pun<br />
intended). He visited with the podiatrist<br />
and learned tthat his uric levels were<br />
double what they are supposed to be.<br />
The doctor made a change in his diet and<br />
he is doing much better…Keith decided<br />
to clean his rain gutters and twisted his<br />
knee in the process and is now walking<br />
with a cane. So much for those fun<br />
golden years.<br />
4. Here is an interesting little tidbit from<br />
Chuck and Sharon Hall. They went<br />
dancing at the Silver Dollar last week<br />
and “danced into” Paula and Freddie<br />
Fam. The Halls had a very interesting<br />
conversation with the Fams and learned<br />
that when they left Egypt. On Saturday,<br />
3/23, the two couples will meet at<br />
APCAL Winery in Madera for more<br />
dancin g to a local bank “Poor MMan’s<br />
Poison”.<br />
5. On Bebruary 23, Gary and I returned<br />
from 10 days of vqacation to the<br />
Western Caribbean where we visited the<br />
island of Roatan, Belize, and Cozamel.<br />
We had a wonderful ttrip that included<br />
lots of rest!! The very best part of the<br />
trip was when we swam with the<br />
dolphins and enjoyed the manatees. We<br />
traveled with Gary’s brother, Lee, and<br />
his sister-in-law, Kris. They left<br />
Minnesotta where it was 20 degrees<br />
below; I have a feeling it was a bit of a<br />
shock to go back into that weather after<br />
being in 80 degree weather!<br />
