From the Estate Manager
Where has 2010 gone? It is really hard to believe that
it is almost Christmas time again!
I’m sure you’ve noticed a few things happening
around the grounds of the Estate. The road grit trap and the dams
feeding into the trap seem to be doing their job as most of the silt
is being trapped before it gets to the main dams!
Power has been installed at the tennis court gazebo and in the
front ofToddlerTown. This is to provide power to the very popular
monthly night market, so please be sure to watch the notice board
for the next one as it’s a great family event. The power supply at
the gazebo will also be extended to supply power to the second
tennis court lights in the future.
New equipment has been installed in the Clubhouse kitchen. This
could mean even more delicious food at our events!
The circle in Phase 1 is receiving an overhaul with new plants in
the circle and surrounds. Irrigation has been fitted to the circle to
help this look its best all year round!
Some flower beds in the Phase 1 park are being overhauled so
please be patient. The transformation will be worth it.
The grass in the Phase 1 park has been aerovated and this should
mean great growth in the [hopefully] rainy months ahead.
But probably the most exciting change of all has been the
development of our new website: www.fwg.co.za! We encourage
all our Residents to log on and familiarise themselves with the
new site as we believe it will be a great communication tool in our
Estate.
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy festive
season and safe travels should you be going away over December.
I am very excited about 2011 and believe firmly that the NewYear
will mean continued success in our Estate.
Regards Dave
This picture is of the road grit trap after a recent downpour and it seems to be
catching silt! The dams above the trap also seem to be helping with flow.
