STUDIOS<br />

INDOOR CYCLING STUDIO:<br />

Spin: Enter a different world of indoor cycling and combine cardiovascular<br />

<strong>fitness</strong> with focus and mental training.<br />

Spin Max: Experience the MAX! A 60 minute indoor cycling experience<br />

that is designed to give you the ultimate in calorie burning sensation.<br />

Cardio based group <strong>fitness</strong> classes:<br />

GROUP FITNESS STUDIO:<br />

BODYCOMBAT®: The best martial arts based group exercise programme<br />

on earth. Taking movements from a variety of disciplines and blending them<br />

into an action packed workout. Kick, block and punch your way to a new<br />

physique.<br />

STEP & TONE®: A low impact choreographed workout based around<br />

a step box. Fantastic for all round cardio <strong>fitness</strong> whilst challenging the lower<br />

body endurance and full body coordination.<br />

Zumba: A simple but effective dance based work out that has taken<br />

the world by storm! Fusing Latin and international music to produce a<br />

fun cardio session.<br />

Boxercise: A fun boxing based workout using gloves and pads to sharpen<br />

your reaction time and improve your <strong>fitness</strong> level. This is a great stress<br />

busting session!<br />

Toning and strengthening group <strong>fitness</strong> classes:<br />

BODYPUMP®: Take the best exercises from the weights room and add<br />

inspirational music to produce the most popular group exercise class on<br />

the planet. BODYPUMP is the fastest way on the universe to change the<br />

shape of your body.<br />

Perfect Abs: A workout designed to strengthen the abdominal core and<br />

lower back muscles, often in the form of a circuit session.<br />

Extreme Circuits: A circuit’s session combining both cardiovascular and<br />

resistance stations to produce an all over body training session. Work at your<br />

own level whilst challenging your weaknesses.<br />

Fit in Body, Fit in Mind: A low impact class for people of all ages; tailored<br />

towards people just getting back into exercise and will include both heart rate<br />

training and muscle toning.<br />

Holistic & Wellness group <strong>fitness</strong> classes:<br />

Pilates: Focussing primarily on posture and the abdominal core, a<br />

concentrated slow session. Pilates can be ideal in the aid of treating some<br />

injuries such as lower back strain. (Please speak to your GP prior to attending<br />

a class if you do have an injury).<br />

Yoga: A series of mental, spiritual and physical exercises designed to aid<br />

in enlightenment. Benefits are; focused mental state, improved body strength<br />

and flexibility. [YOGA takes many forms see specific class details for more<br />

information and level]<br />

Tai Chi: Slow, deliberate movements from the Far East designed to<br />

stretch and elongate your body, at the same time as re-balancing your<br />

chi energy, alleviating stress and tension. Discover the secrets of the<br />

east and find a calmer you!<br />

Stretch: Take the time out of the day to really stretch. Ideal for after a high<br />

intensity gym session or class; work from tip to toe performing perfect<br />

stretches that simply help to keep you supple and reduce the risk of injury<br />

POOL:<br />

Aqua: A class that always guarantees to be full of fun, ideal for pregnant<br />

participants and people with joint injuries. Splash your way to a great <strong>fitness</strong><br />

level at any age.<br />

GYM FLOOR:<br />

Row Fit: 30 minute rowing challenges; if time is a limit and <strong>fitness</strong> is a<br />

priority this short and challenging guided workout will give the maximum<br />

results in the minimum time. [Note this session will not just utilise the<br />

rowing machine; other exercises are included.]<br />

Please ensure you arrive on time for each class. If you do arrive<br />

late, participation will be at the discretion of the instructor.<br />

Expectant mothers should seek the approval of their <strong>health</strong>care<br />

professional prior to participating in classes.<br />

We suggest that high impact activities and progressive<br />

stretching should be avoided, also care should be taken when<br />

performing floor exercises.<br />

Please ensure that you wear the appropriate footwear and<br />

clothing to all classes.<br />

Participants are advised that it is unsafe to leave a class<br />

without stretching. If you are going to leave early, please<br />

inform the instructor.<br />

Please ensure a towel is used when doing floor work on<br />

the mats.<br />

Members may only book their own, or their partners place<br />

in a class.<br />
