with Canadian <strong>and</strong> Gabonese health care workers. Ali holds<br />
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor<br />
in Economics from Acadia University. She wrote her<br />

Health’s Department of Surveillance <strong>and</strong> <strong>Management</strong> of<br />
Infectious Diseases. Ariuntuya received a Bachelor of<br />

to patients <strong>and</strong> coordinating <strong>and</strong> delegating patient care. Prior to<br />
working at Johns Hopkins, Nadia was a staff nurse at the Arab<br />
Medical Center in Amman, Jordan. She received a Bachelor of<br />

Her latest development work was with the Ministry of Health<br />
in Rw<strong>and</strong>a, where she served as a health coordinator <strong>for</strong> the<br />
UN Millennium Villages Project in Bugesera, a very poor<br />
<strong>and</strong> rural area. She also worked as a project manager <strong>for</strong> the<br />
Ministry of Youth, Culture, <strong>and</strong> Sports.<br />

surveillance medical officer, <strong>and</strong> coordinated training <strong>and</strong><br />
technical assistance to promote polio eradication activities.<br />
Binod also worked on the collection of data <strong>for</strong> other diseases,<br />
such as measles <strong>and</strong> rubella. He holds Bachelor’s degree in<br />

Development Cooperation Agency, Canadian International<br />

international NGOs operating in Georgia, Russia, Nicaragua,<br />
Colombia, Nepal, <strong>and</strong> Ug<strong>and</strong>a. She has extensive travel <strong>and</strong><br />
international development experience with a focus<br />
on preventive health <strong>and</strong> dental services, <strong>and</strong> education <strong>for</strong><br />

an NGO concerned with the issues facing people with disabilities.<br />
Risnawati specialized in the education <strong>and</strong> promotion of sexuality<br />
<strong>and</strong> reproductive rights <strong>for</strong> people with disabilities. During that<br />
time she also volunteered with the United Nations-Economic <strong>Social</strong><br />
Commission promoting a barrier-free environment <strong>for</strong> people<br />
with disabilities. Ms. Utami holds a degree in Law.
