50 This detail of the large composition of page 46 is barely 5 cm high and shows a tree and a young animal rampant as if preparing to jump. The fine manner of elaboration in its peculiar position is an extraordinary precious piece of art.
51 Detail of bottom part of page 38 showing 3 triangulars of 6 tiny holes each and a sort of circle with the same kind of holes occupying the right side of the picture. Its main object is an animal which is untypical for the region today, i.e., a wild cow or bison resting on the ground in an attitude characteristical for the species. This engraving demonstrates that the region must have been quite humid once in the past because ages elapsed since these animals have been able to survive.
