Lophocolea (Dumort.) Dumort. In this checklist, species of Lophocolea are assigned to
Chiloscyphus in line with recent molecular studies (He-Nygren & Piippo 2003, Hentschel et al.
(2006). However, this assignment is not universally accepted, and there may be a case for
retaining Lophocolea as a distinct genus (Crandall-Stotler et al. 2008).
