6. The Contracting Authority will request a quotation for repair work in writing. The quotation will be sent to EULEX Transport<br />

HQ for approval in advance of any repair taking place.<br />

7. Repairs will be completed in the shortest possible time using, parts that are held in stock by the contractor. Where a part is not<br />

in stock, the contractor will confirm in writing to the Contracting Authority when the part will be available. In accordance with<br />

article 29.2, the time limits for the availability of the spare parts shall be shall be 15 working days, (fifteen working days)..<br />

8. Scheduled Maintenance as per manufacturer’s recommendations:<br />

Areas to be covered during a scheduled maintenance as below indicated, yet not limited to:<br />

� All Oils and Fluids<br />

� All Filters<br />

� Electrical System<br />

� Brakes<br />

� Steering Suspension<br />

� Transmission<br />

� Full inspection of the chassis, body and safety features of the vehicle must be incorporated into each scheduled maintenance.<br />

� The scheduled maintenance also includes the transport of the vehicle to the contractor’s premises and the drop off after<br />

completion of the services (the transport and drop off apply to all vehicles except for lot 5 andlot 6).<br />

9. The contractor should give priority to EULEX vehicles that are waiting for repair or scheduled maintenance.<br />

10. The contractor will be wholly responsible for the vehicles while they are on their premises and must be insured accordingly.<br />

Any damage incurred will be rectified by the contractor at his own cost. The interior of the vehicles will be protected at all<br />

times using seat covers and other protection to ensure that the interior furnishings are not damaged or soiled in any way.<br />

11. The contractor will perform all services to the highest quality and at least to a level that is in accordance with the vehicle<br />

manufacturer’s Workshop Manual. Where no specific instructions are provided by the manufacturer, the contractor will<br />

maintain a standard in keeping with the highest levels in the automotive industry, based on the vehicle road worthiness testing<br />

to EU standards.<br />
