Participants competing for the entire season will benefit from
some enticing initiatives. They will receive the official Abarth
driver’s racing overall, a clothing kit in the Squadra Abarth livery
as also discounts on the various products emanating from
the Trofeo Benelux partners and on the road-going Abarth.
Registration on a race per race basis is obviously also possible.
The cars can either be purchased or rented via Neri Automotive
sprl. Every Abarth 500 Assetto Corse manufactured by Abarth
spa and conforming to the Trofeo Benelux technical regulations
is allowed to compete.
ForMAT oF The MeeTiNGs
In 2013 the Trofeo Abarth 500 Benelux will enjoy the prospect
of visiting some renowned and international circuits. Each
meeting will be held over 2 days. Hereunder the format:

>SUN Race 1 1 X 25’ + 1 lap

Having already been successfully organised in Italy, in Europe
and in Sweden, the Trofeo Abarth 500 Benelux is now joining
the Trofeo Abarth club! One of the key success factors is
the identical technical regulations, even though the sporting
regulations may vary from one country to another. In fact the
Trofeo Abarth Europe will be joining us for three of the meetings
(Dijon, Nürburgring and Spa) and the Swedish “ 500 “ will
be on hand at the Nürburgring. It goes without saying that the
classifications will be distinct.
scruTiNeeriNG
Scrutineering will be strict and carried out to the letter. The
500 Assetto Corse cars will be delivered with the engine, gearbox,
ECU and turbocharger all sealed. The Teams will not be
permitted to work on these components. Solely sealed spare
parts will be available from the organisers upon exchange of
the old parts. Certain components such as the aileron or the
shock absorbers will be marked and may not be replaced by
another type. Random checks will also be carried out during
the meeting.

The Trofeo Abarth Benelux is open to “rookies” and young
drivers wishing to do battle on the track with more experienced
drivers and those boasting a fair record of achievements!
To compete in the various rounds of the Trofeo each driver
must hold a National C Circuit Licence.
opporTuNiTies
The Abarth make has motorsport in its DNA and the Trofeo
Abarth 500 Benelux is a demonstration of what Abarth represents:
competitive products, performance and engineering,
style, design and responsibility.
Numerous Abarth dealers seized this opportunity and welcomed
the competition by either entering their own Team or in
partnership with existing and experienced Teams.
However this is not a championship solely reserved for dealers.
It goes without saying that the organisers welcome independent
and professional Teams as also drivers emanating from
everywhere.
seAsoN 2013
RACE CALENDER
All the meetings of the Trofeo Benelux 2013 calendar take on both a
sporting and festive character, in a true family spirit and also enjoyed
by all motorsport aficionados.
We will kick off the season during the official Test Day at Circuit
Zolder. The first race meeting will take place at Dijon, in the company
of the BRCC Championship, the Be trophy, the Lotus Cup Europe
and the European Race Car. Following this we will head off to the
world-renowned Nürburgring circuit, together with the GT Open, the
F3 Open and the European Radical Cup. A fortnight later our port of
call will be Zandvoort, in the Netherlands, joined by the BGDC and
the Be Trophy. In July we will be in Luxembourg for our 4th meeting,
entirely dedicated to the Abarth make, with the European gathering
of Abarth owners.
The penultimate meeting will be held on the mythical Spa-Francorchamps
circuit during the “ 600 kms of Spa”, together with the
BRCC, the GT Open and the F3 Open. Our season will come to a
close at Circuit Zolder in the company of the BRCC Championship
and the Be Trophy.

spAre pArTs
The Trofeo Benelux organisers are responsible for the supply
of spare parts with an adapted level of stock. A truck with all
the necessary parts will be present at each Trofeo meeting.
Teams will also have the possibility to rent a spare car, an
engine or a gearbox during a meeting in the event that the
time of repair on their own car does not allow them to take the
start of the race. To facilitate the car’s maintenance during the
season, an adapted list of spare parts will be available.

The Trofeo Abarth 500
Benelux is a strong
marketing platform with
the magic of the Abarth
make and its heritage
in motorsport, the involvement of the Abarth importers
and dealers as also the iconic “ 500 “ which is the pure
assertion of a lifestyle: fun, retro and cool!
The media coverage will be via the automotive press
(competition and industry), lifestyle magazines and
through Internet publications. The press releases and
the photographs (royalty free) will be produced and distributed
immediately after each race and meeting. We
strongly encourage the competitors and their sponsors/
partners to work closely with the organisers to maximise
their media coverage and their marketing activities. Additional
media coverage will result from the close collaboration
with the various Abarth importers (Belgium, the
Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany) and
their strong relations with the major press partners.
TeleVisioN
Images summarising the highlights of the qualifying sessions,
the races as also the podiums and interviews will
be recorded at each meeting. These will be distributed to
the television stations of each country and negotiations
are underway to ensure the broadcasting in ad hoc programmes.
In addition we hope to be able to broadcast the races live
via the Internet.

The website is the focal point for the marketing of the
Trofeo Benelux, with interactive elements and social media
such as Youtube, Twitter, Facebook and Flickr, integrated
in the platform.
The site also contains a forum to keep the competitors
fully informed, a press section, the profile of all the Teams
and drivers, a blog, a photo and video gallery, a sponsors/partners
zone with the relevant links. Internet statistics
will be available upon request.

hospiTAliTY
TAKe ADVANTAGe oF This eXperieNce!
The Trofeo Benelux hospitality encourages networking
and offers a relaxed and informal environment allowing
the teams and the drivers to welcome and meet their
guests and partners. The hospitality will be adjacent to
the technical tent, where the Team’s prepare their cars.
This will be the focal point from which to enjoy the meetings
from inside in the stylish and comfortable interior reflecting
Abarth’s history in competition.
Italian buffets, coffee and refreshments will always be
available for the competitors and their guests.
Each competitor will dispose of 5 permanent entry passes,
giving access to the paddock, the hospitality as also
the pit lane.
