The Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) (Union Territories) Order<br />
(Amendment) Act, 2008 (Central Act 2 of 2009)—Section 2—For a<br />
person to become a member ofLakshadweep Scheduled Tribe, it is not<br />
necessary that he should be born in Lakshadweep—Acceptance by the<br />
inhabitants of Lakshadweep is also not necessary for a person to<br />
become member of the Lakshadweep Scheduled Tribe.<br />
