The compact automotive power inverter unit S30 features
state-of-the-art IGBT technology with efficient liquid cooling
and highly sophisticated, dense packaging of circuit boards
and components. The attractive small form factor and low
weight make the S30 ideal for use as a power inverter for drive
motors or generators for any modern hybrid-electric vehicles.
The embedded controller features many interfaces for various
sensors and offers support for a wide range of
communications standards. Given this versatility, the S30 can
accommodate a variety of machine technologies: PM, SR or
induction motors and generators. Applications include drives
for prime-mover generators or wheel motors; auxiliary systems
such as pumps and fans; or as an AC power source generating
clean sine waves (single-phase, three-phase or split-phase).
