2 <strong>Health</strong> <strong>promotion</strong> <strong>priorities</strong> <strong>for</strong><strong>Victoria</strong> 2007-12: Report <strong>of</strong> 2006 consultation process and next steps<br />

In<strong>for</strong>mation collected from the consultation <strong>for</strong>ums, as well<br />

as written submissions, was collated and analysed to<br />

finalise the list <strong>of</strong> health <strong>promotion</strong> <strong>priorities</strong>.<br />

The third stage <strong>of</strong> the process––now underway––<br />

establishes the management mechanisms <strong>for</strong> coordinating<br />

implementation actions. More in<strong>for</strong>mation on this<br />

implementation planning will be available later in 2007.<br />

This summary report <strong>of</strong> the process and<br />

subsequent results includes:<br />

• a brief introduction (section 1)<br />

• an outline <strong>of</strong> the consultation results (section 2)<br />

• the health <strong>promotion</strong> <strong>priorities</strong> <strong>for</strong> 2007–12 and<br />

next steps––implementation planning (section 3)<br />

• an overview <strong>of</strong> the consultation <strong>for</strong>ums<br />

(Appendix 1)<br />

• regional summaries <strong>for</strong> consultation results<br />

(Appendix 2)<br />

• the list <strong>of</strong> organisations from which written<br />

submissions were received (Appendix 3)<br />

• the health <strong>promotion</strong> priority setting<br />

management group (Appendix 4).
