WHAT DO WE MEAN BY MOTIVATION DESIGN?
From now on our offices will not be merely places to work. They are
the places where we will spend most of our time. Modern offices
are the places where both people work and expect a level of comfort
that is found in their homes. They should be places that create
emotional connections that bind people to the institutions they work
for. At Nurus, our primary aim is not just to create new furniture design
but to design in an appropriate and correct way. We reach this goal
by applying in the proper manner the factors that go into making a
products character; form, color scale, materials and our experience
in integration are combined in the most suitable way to create a
product that is respectful to its object and goal.
This approach is the most important factor in reflecting to the
customer the care taken in the process that goes into creating the
product.
The other important factor in the success of the design is the close
observation of personal behavior. We believe it is important to design
objects based on people’s habits, behavior and cultural make-up.
One of the main problems of business life today is office worker’s
lack of motivation. Companies are trying to find any type of solution
to overcome this deficiency. In this context, Nurus has in 2004 taken
upon the concept of “Motivation Design”. In contrast to the hierarchies
of business life, the concept of “Motivation Design” gives equal
importance to everyone that shares in a common office life.
With this concept, Nurus introduces the sought after concept of a
liberated office. Nurus succeeds in this concept by designing
motivational, imaginative and performance-enhancing office furniture.
MOT‹VASYON TASARIMI DERKEN NE DEMEK ‹ST‹YORUZ?
Ofisler art›k sadece ifl yeri olmaktan ç›kt›. Günümüzün neredeyse
tamam›n› geçirdi¤imiz yerler. Ça¤dafl ofisler insanlar›n hem çal›flt›¤›
hem de evi gibi rahat etti¤i, ba¤land›¤› dolay›s› ile çal›flt›¤› kuruma da
ayn› duygusal ba¤ ile ba¤lanabilece¤i mekanlar olmal›d›r.
Nurus olarak ofis mobilyas› tasar›m›nda öncelikli hedefimiz, sadece
yeni mobilyalar yaratmak de¤il, tasar›mlar› uygun ve do¤ru bir flekilde
yapmak. Bu hedefe ulaflman›n yolu, ürünlerin karakterlerini oluflturan,
form, renk ölçek, malzeme ve bunlar› bir araya getiren bilgi birikimini en
do¤ru flekilde kullanarak, objenin yap›s›na sayg›l› bir ürün yaratabilmek.
Bu yaklafl›m tasar›m sürecinde ürüne gösterilen özenin kullan›c›ya
aktar›lmas›nda en önemli faktördür.
Tasar›m›n baflar›s›nda rol oynayan di¤er önemli faktör ise insan
davran›fllar›n›n yak›ndan takibi. Objenin insanlar›n al›flkanl›klar›na ve
kültürel yap›lar›na uygun olarak tasarlanmas› büyük önem tafl›r.
Sonuçta, günümüz ifl dünyas›n›n temel problemlerinden biri,
çal›flanlardaki motivasyon eksikli¤i. Firmalar, bu eksikli¤in üstesinden
gelebilmek için türlü çözümler ar›yor. Bu çerçevede Nurus 2004 y›l›nda
‘motivasyon tasar›m›’ kavram›n› ele almakta. ‘Motivasyon Tasar›m›’
kavram olarak ifl hayat›ndaki hiyerarflinin tam tersine, içerisindeki tüm
ofis hayat› paylafl›mc›lar›na ayn› önemi veriyor.
Nurus bu anlamda arad›¤›m›z özgür ofis kavram›n› ortaya at›yor...
