discussed the data to be maintained at the Diocesan level for livelihood and food security
issues. Accordingly the format was developed to have information on the livelihood issues
and cross- cutting themes i.e. LAN, CME and Gender.
Regional Forum for Strengthening Partnership for Shared Understanding:
Regional Forum was organized by the resource centre to strengthen the partnerships with
the DBSS to have shared understanding as we are journeying with the theme of “Let Justice
Roll”. The Strategic Action Plan 2005- 2008 was discussed with the DBSS and was guided
accordingly to prepare the cash flow for the period of April 2006- September 2006. The
objectives were discussed, prioritized and programmes were designed by the DBSS partners
to fulfill the mission of the church.
The concept of resource centre was shared with the DBSS partners to redefine the meaning
and what do the partners expect from the resource centres. Reflections and responses were
collected to develop a common understanding of resource centre. Measures were taken to
strengthen the financial systems; the new audit accounting formats were discussed and
introduced to the DBSS partners.
During the journey of “Let Justice Roll” the resource team based at Agra, took all the
necessary initiative to impart technical knowledge to be applied in the reference area for so
that the community could become part of the struggles of the people. This will in turn
develop the capacity, skills to negotiate with the policy makers to realize their rights and
emerge as an alternative political force and streamline the systems for good governance.
Efforts are in progress to build peoples organizations which may lead towards people’s
movement.
