Return to Kakariko to witness a disturbing scene: orcs have arrived and have dragged Colin <strong>of</strong>f to<br />
the northeast. Good riddance, we say! That little big-eyed waterheaded babychild always rubbed<br />
us the wrong way.<br />
Unfortunately, you can’t actually complete the game if you let the orcs roast Colin and eat him;<br />
you’ll have to give chase to Hyrule Field via the northeastern passage out <strong>of</strong> town and attempt to<br />
rescue him. This is going to be your first taste <strong>of</strong> horsified combat, but you shouldn’t find it too<br />
difficult. <strong>The</strong> leader <strong>of</strong> the orcs will ride ahead with Colin tied to a stick; he’ll summon in multiple<br />
helpers to help fight you <strong>of</strong>f, but they won’t be very effectual. You should ignore the peons as best<br />
you can, but feel free to swipe your sword at them as they come up alongside you to knock them<br />
<strong>of</strong>f your horses. <strong>The</strong> leader can summon more <strong>of</strong> these fellows when you kill them <strong>of</strong>f, though, so<br />
it’s not important to kill them.
