Three unique testing options with visual and audible feedback:<br />
• Built-in test mode:<br />
Turn switch to left and hold; red LED should flash,<br />
followed by a beep.<br />
This indicates a passing self test.<br />
• Practical testing:<br />
Hold SART in the test mode and check for SART response on a nearby<br />
radar screen.<br />
SART must be at least 40 feet from radar antenna.<br />
• New ACR SART test:<br />
Convenient “companion” test of the transponder between two units.<br />
Place SART 2 in the test position and hold it.<br />
Self-test SART 2 . SART 2 will hear SART 2 and respond with LED and tone.<br />
Repeat test with SART 2 .<br />
