Dismount 1
1. Dismount engine cover.
2. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
3. Remove :
• the engine reaction rod.
• ECU
• the right front wheel.
• the bottom plate.
• the right inner fender.
• the multi-belt.
• crankshaft pulley / vibration damper.
4. Dismount :
• idler pulleys.
• upper timing belt cover.
• lower timing belt cover.
5. Remove the bracket on the engine for the reaction rod.
6. Attach the engine fixing.

Dismount 2
1. Turn crankshaft in its rotational sense to compression TDC on cylinder 1.
2. Check the crankshaft position.
3. Remove the plug in the valvever, exhaust side.
4. Install the camshaft template "EN-46789".
5. Loosen belt tensioner.
6. Prise off and remove the timing belt, tighten the nut in the belt tensioner by hand.
7. Dismount timing belt.
1. Turn crankshaft in its rotational sense to compression TDC on cylinder 1.
2. Check the crankshaft position.
3. Remove the plug in the valvever, exhaust side.
4. Install the camshaft template "EN-46789".
5. Loosen belt tensioner.
6. Prise off and remove the timing belt, tighten the nut in the belt tensioner by hand.
7. Dismount timing belt.

Mounting 1
Opel/Vauxhall, Vectra C 1,9 CDTI
1. Mount idler pulleys.
2. Tighten 47 Nm.
3. Check :
• that the exhaust camshaft is blocked.
• the crankshaft position.
4. Loosen camshaft bolt and release the sprocket from the taper.
5. Mount timing belt on crank pulley.
6. Fit the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
7. Loosen belt tensioner.
8. Use a screwdriver to lever in the hole, until the reference on the belt tensioner lines up with the
reference hole.
9. Tighten :
• the belt tensioner 47 Nm.
• the camshaft toothed drive pulley fixing bolt 118 Nm.
10. Remove :
• the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
• the camshaft blocking tool "EN-46789".
11. Turn crankshaft 720°.
12. Install the camshaft template "EN-46789".
13. Fit the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
14. Control that pointer aligns with mark on belt tensioner.
15. Remove :
• the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
• the camshaft blocking tool "EN-46789".
16. Mount the plug in the valve cover.
17. The remainder is assembled in opposite order.
1. Mount idler pulleys.
2. Tighten 47 Nm.
3. Check :
• that the exhaust camshaft is blocked.
• the crankshaft position.

6. Fit the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
7. Loosen belt tensioner.

12. Install the camshaft template "EN-46789".
13. Fit the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
14. Control that pointer aligns with mark on belt tensioner.
15. Remove :
• the crankshaft locking tool "EN-46788".
• the camshaft blocking tool "EN-46789".
16. Mount the plug in the valve cover.
17. The remainder is assembled in opposite order.
