David H. Arditi ʹ′65 (Chair, <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Governors)<br />
David is the President and CEO <strong>of</strong> MIP Inc., a manufacturer and distributor <strong>of</strong> health care<br />
textiles and pressure relief mattresses, which are sold around the world. Previously, he<br />
had spent 20 years with Peerless Carpet Corporation, a public Company and <strong>Canada</strong>’s<br />
largest manufacturer <strong>of</strong> broadloom carpeting. David is a graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Lower</strong> <strong>Canada</strong><br />
<strong>College</strong> and McGill University and is also a Chartered Accountant. He is also the<br />
Chairman <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Priva Inc., a public Company which sells waterpro<strong>of</strong> and<br />
absorbent products to retailers around the world, as well as a member <strong>of</strong> the Advisory<br />
<strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Medicom, a manufacturer and distributor <strong>of</strong> enhanced dental and medical<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essional-use supplies. He is the Past Chairman <strong>of</strong> the Young Presidents<br />
Organization, was the Treasurer <strong>of</strong> the Forest and Stream Club, President <strong>of</strong> the Canadian<br />
Carpet Institute, and a founding member <strong>of</strong> the Advisory <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> the Montreal Chamber<br />
Music Festival. He was also one <strong>of</strong> the organizers <strong>of</strong> the Montreal Referendum Rally.<br />
Currently, he serves on the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation <strong>Board</strong>, where he is a member<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Finance Committee and the Golf Tournament Committee, which he chaired in<br />
2004 and 2005. David and his wife Peggy have five children, Jeff, Jennifer, Ryan ‘96,<br />
Alexandra ‘06 and Brittany ‘08 and Pre-U ‘09.<br />
Olga Assaly<br />
Olga is the Past Chair <strong>of</strong> the LCC Parent Association, following a decade <strong>of</strong> outstanding<br />
volunteer service for the School. She is presently part <strong>of</strong> the Leadership Development<br />
Council and the Advancement Committee. In 1999, she became a volunteer at the LCC<br />
Store and took over as Chair from 2000 to 2007 and contributed to record sums for the<br />
LCC Bursary Fund. Olga has also been actively involved in the Staff Appreciation event<br />
as well as LCC’s Grandparents’ Day. After holding various administrative and<br />
managerial positions for S. Rossy Inc., Olga became part <strong>of</strong> the team that transformed<br />
this successful family business into the retail phenomenon called Dollarama. She and her<br />
husband Leonard are Co-Chairs <strong>of</strong> the LCC Capital Campaign. Olga was the Chair <strong>of</strong><br />
our very successful “LCC Roar Fundraising Gala” that raised close to $500,000. In the<br />
spring <strong>of</strong> 2006, after being touched by breast cancer, Olga became involved in the<br />
“Weekend to End Breast Cancer”. She formed a team known as “Olga’s Butterflies” and<br />
has raised significant funds to date for this special cause. Olga and her husband Leonard<br />
have 3 children – Andrew ‘06, Laurie ‘08 and Jeremy ‘14.

Randy Aziz ʹ′77<br />
Randy is Vice President and co-founder <strong>of</strong> Creations Cindy Ann Inc., a ladies<br />
undergarment importer and manufacturer, established in 1985. He is a member <strong>of</strong><br />
numerous committees at The Royal Montreal Golf Club, is current club champion, and is<br />
a past Chair <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church. He graduated from the<br />
University <strong>of</strong> Western Ontario in 1981 with a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts majoring in Economics<br />
and is an alumnus <strong>of</strong> LCC – class <strong>of</strong> 1977. Randy and his wife Lynn (former Chair <strong>of</strong> the<br />
LCC Parents’ Association) have three children, David ‘07 and Pre-U ‘08, Laura ‘09 and<br />
Jacqueline ’12.<br />
Philip Belec ʹ′77<br />
Philip is the President and Founder <strong>of</strong> Ben-Jac Capital Inc., a financial services firm<br />
specializing in helping successful business owners plan for the eventual transition and<br />
succession <strong>of</strong> their business. Previously, he spent five years with Mobius International in<br />
the film production and distribution business. Philip is a graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Lower</strong> <strong>Canada</strong><br />
<strong>College</strong> and The University <strong>of</strong> Western Ontario. He is a past-president <strong>of</strong> the LCC<br />
Alumni Association, a member <strong>of</strong> the LCC Corporation and a Director <strong>of</strong> the LCC<br />
Foundation. Philip has extensive not-for-pr<strong>of</strong>it experience including The Action Centre<br />
(<strong>Board</strong> member), Sarah Cook Fund (<strong>Board</strong> Member), Montreal Children’s Hospital<br />
Foundation (ABC Ball Committee Member), Cedar’s Cancer Institute (Committee<br />
Member), Mount Bruno Country Club (Committee Member), Montreal Rackets Club<br />
(<strong>Board</strong> Member), Conference for Advanced Life Underwriters – CALU -(<strong>Board</strong><br />
Member) and member <strong>of</strong> the LCC Capital Campaign Committee. Philip is married to<br />
Anna and they have two children who are enrolled at LCC – Ben ‘10 and P.J. ‘12.<br />
Anne-Marie Boucher<br />
Anne-Marie Boucher is a lawyer who graduated in 1989 from University <strong>of</strong> Montreal<br />
(LLB) and obtained a Masters in Tax from the University <strong>of</strong> Sherbrooke in 1991. She<br />
practiced tax, commercial and corporate law at the firm known as BCF until 2000, when<br />
she became director <strong>of</strong> Training and Education at the Quebec Tax Association. At the<br />
same time, she also taught tax and estate planning at the Masters in Tax programs <strong>of</strong><br />
L'Ecole des HEC, and the University <strong>of</strong> Sherbrooke, as well as the Diplôme de Droit<br />
Notarial at the University <strong>of</strong> Montreal. Between 2001-2003 Anne-Marie was also asked<br />
to join a group <strong>of</strong> Canadian Tax specialists including both the Ministers <strong>of</strong> Revenue <strong>of</strong><br />
Quebec and <strong>Canada</strong> to advise and assist the Brazilian government on its tax reform. In<br />
2005 Anne-Marie was elected counsellor in the city <strong>of</strong> Hampstead and was entrusted with<br />
the finance portfolio. In 2006 Anne-Marie and her family moved to Europe for nearly 3<br />
years. She recently re-joined the law firm BCF focusing on estate planning and high net<br />
worth structuring. She currently sits on the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation board, and is<br />
also involved with a number <strong>of</strong> other charities in <strong>Canada</strong>, Europe and Israel. She is<br />
married to Mitch Garber, and they have two sons, Dylan '12 and Ryan '17.

Donna Doherty Fraser<br />
Donna graduated from Queen’s University in 1982 with a B.A. Honours in Economics.<br />
She spent the next few years living in Toronto and working in the securities industry. In<br />
1986, Donna moved back to Montreal where she worked as a corporate foreign exchange<br />
dealer for the Royal Bank <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong>. In 1997, Donna completed an MBA and has since<br />
worked part time for Fraser Furniture. Other activities include involvement in a number<br />
<strong>of</strong> sports, cultural activities and volunteer work. Donna has been involved at LCC<br />
through the LCC Parents’ Association and as a member <strong>of</strong> two <strong>Board</strong> Committees<br />
(Advancement and Communications). Donna and her husband Ross have 3 sons - Sean<br />
‘07, Jordan ‘08, and Kevin ‘12.<br />
Ge<strong>of</strong>frey Kalil ʹ′92<br />
Ge<strong>of</strong>f is currently an account manager with TD Commercial Banking. Prior to that, he<br />
was a Director <strong>of</strong> New Equity Capital, a Montreal-based private equity group. He has<br />
also worked in finance and operations at the Business Development Bank <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong>,<br />
AVS Technologies and WSBG LLP. Ge<strong>of</strong>f is a graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Lower</strong> <strong>Canada</strong> <strong>College</strong> (class<br />
<strong>of</strong> 1992), Queen's University, and received his Masters in Business Administration from<br />
the John Molson School <strong>of</strong> Business in 2004. Ge<strong>of</strong>f is also the President <strong>of</strong> the LCC<br />
Alumni Association and has represented the Alumni on the Advancement, Facilities and<br />
Finance Committees <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Board</strong>. In past years, Ge<strong>of</strong>f was the Commissioner <strong>of</strong> the<br />
LCC Old Boys Hockey League, the Treasurer <strong>of</strong> the Junior Associates <strong>of</strong> the Cedars<br />
Cancer Institute, a founding member <strong>of</strong> the Peter Assaly '92 Memorial Golf Tournament<br />
for Leukemia Research, and a former member <strong>of</strong> the St. George Foundation. Ge<strong>of</strong>f is<br />
married to Michelle Herr and they have a daughter, Megan.<br />
Doug Lewin ʹ′87<br />
Doug is the Vice President <strong>of</strong> Harrah's Interactive Entertainment, a Montreal based<br />
subsidiary <strong>of</strong> Harrah's Entertainment Inc., the world’s largest gaming company. Prior to<br />
joining Harrah's, Doug was the CEO <strong>of</strong> Optimal Payments, a NASDAQ listed credit card<br />
and check processing company. A 1987 graduate <strong>of</strong> LCC, he holds a Bachelor <strong>of</strong><br />
Science degree from Babson <strong>College</strong> where he was a member <strong>of</strong> the school’s 1992<br />
NCAA Frozen Four hockey team. Doug is a founding member and current chairman <strong>of</strong><br />
Kids for Kids, a local charity that raises money for Montreal based children in need. He<br />
also sits on the board <strong>of</strong> the Sarah Cook Foundation. At LCC, Doug is a member <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Corporation and has served on the school’s Alumni Association Committee from 2005present<br />
and is a member <strong>of</strong> the school's Capital Campaign Committee. He and his wife<br />
Brina have three children at LCC - Matthew ‘17, Zach ‘20 and Justin ‘20.

Janice Naymark<br />
Janice Naymark is a native Montrealer who graduated from McGill University’s Faculty<br />
<strong>of</strong> Law in 1986 with both her B.C.L. and LL.B degrees. She was called to the Quebec<br />
bar in 1987 and has been practicing law with the firm <strong>of</strong> Spiegel Sohmer Inc. since 1987.<br />
As a senior partner in the commercial/corporate law group at Spiegel Sohmer Inc.,<br />
Janice’s practice is focused on acquisitions and sales <strong>of</strong> businesses. She has acted as an<br />
advisor to both individual directors and boards <strong>of</strong> directors <strong>of</strong> numerous corporations,<br />
both public and private. Janice served on the LCC Government Relations Committee in<br />
2005-2006. She is married to Stephen Hamilton (LCC class <strong>of</strong> 1978) and they have three<br />
children currently attending LCC, Andrew ‘13, Michael ‘16 and William ‘19.<br />
Amelia Saputo<br />
Amelia Saputo, born Violo has been donating her time and energy for the past 15 years to<br />
helping children through a variety <strong>of</strong> charitable organizations. A graduate <strong>of</strong> Concordia<br />
University with a major in sociology and a minor in Business Administration, Amelia<br />
held a number <strong>of</strong> administrative positions at Saputo until 1994. She has since been<br />
actively involved in school and extracurricular activities for her children and she devotes<br />
herself to causes that are dear to her heart. Amelia is a member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Directors<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation and <strong>of</strong> the Breakfast Clubs <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong>, which<br />
supports more than 2,500 feeding programs for children across <strong>Canada</strong>. She is married to<br />
Lino Saputo, Jr. and they have two children enrolled at LCC - Emanuele ‘12 and<br />
Giordano ‘13.<br />
Adam Shine ‘84<br />
Adam Shine is a Senior Vice-President within the Research Department <strong>of</strong> National Bank<br />
Financial. He has covered Communications & Media stocks for the past 12 years, the<br />
last seven at National Bank Financial during most <strong>of</strong> which time he has been ranked the<br />
#1 Communications & Media Analyst in <strong>Canada</strong>. Adam has worked in the investment<br />
industry for nearly 18 years and in equity research for more than 14 years, during which<br />
time he has interacted extensively with executive teams and boards <strong>of</strong> directors. In<br />
addition to earning his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1998, he followed-up<br />
his Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Commerce degree in marketing and accounting in 1989 with an MBA in<br />
International Business from McGill University and the Stockholm School <strong>of</strong> Economics<br />
in 1992. Adam has been involved with a number <strong>of</strong> charitable causes and industry<br />
associations in both Montreal and Toronto. Adam is married to Brigitte Roy and they<br />
have three children – Zachary ’15, Abigail ’17, and Gabrielle (future LCC student).

Marc P. Tellier<br />
Marc is President and Chief Executive Officer <strong>of</strong> Yellow Pages Group since October<br />
2001. Prior to his current position, Marc was an <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> Bell <strong>Canada</strong> and served as<br />
Senior Vice President - Partnership Development. He began his career at Bell <strong>Canada</strong> in<br />
1990 after graduating from the University <strong>of</strong> Ottawa with a Bachelor's degree in<br />
Economics. Marc is a member <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Directors <strong>of</strong> the National Bank <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong>,<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Yellow Pages Association (YPA) and the Ste-Justine Hospital Foundation. He is<br />
also a member <strong>of</strong> the Canadian Council <strong>of</strong> Chief Executives and serves on the Advisory<br />
<strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Students on Ice. In 2000, he was named one <strong>of</strong> <strong>Canada</strong>'s Top Forty under Forty<br />
TM . Marc has three children enrolled at LCC - Eric ‘14, Vivianne ‘17 and Sophie ‘18.<br />
Adam Turner ‘87<br />
Adam is the President <strong>of</strong> Divco Limited, a Montreal based construction firm specializing<br />
in the construction <strong>of</strong> commercial, institutional and industrial buildings in Quebec and<br />
Eastern <strong>Canada</strong>. Prior to joining Divco, Adam was Vice-President at Adatif<br />
International, a family investment and merchant-banking firm. At Adatif, Adam lead<br />
efforts in real estate, as well as international sales in the medical and industrial gas<br />
sectors. Adam has served as a member at the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> the SAQ (Société des Alcools du<br />
Québec) since May <strong>of</strong> 2005, where he is Chairman <strong>of</strong> the Human Resource Committee<br />
and currently sits on the Audit Committee. Adam is a graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>Lower</strong> <strong>Canada</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />
and <strong>of</strong> the University <strong>of</strong> Western Ontario where he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts<br />
(Political Science and French). Adam has been involved in a variety <strong>of</strong> philanthropic and<br />
not for pr<strong>of</strong>it causes in Montreal including the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, was a<br />
founding member <strong>of</strong> Kids for Kids, and sat on the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> YEO (Young Entrepreneurs<br />
Organization), and LOVE (Leave Out ViolencE). At LCC, Adam is a member <strong>of</strong><br />
Corporation and has served as President <strong>of</strong> LCC’s Alumni Association and as a member<br />
<strong>of</strong> the <strong>Board</strong> <strong>of</strong> Governors from 2002 to 2005. He is married to Catherine Melling and<br />
they are the proud parents <strong>of</strong> Andrew ‘17, William ‘18 as well as Carlye and Matthew.

Christopher Shannon, Pre-U ʹ′76 (Headmaster)<br />
Christopher Shannon has had a distinguished career in education. He joined LCC as<br />
Headmaster in 2005. Since then he has overseen the implementation <strong>of</strong> a new strategic<br />
plan, the school’s most successful fund-raising initiative, and the construction <strong>of</strong> a state<strong>of</strong>-the<br />
art arena-athletic complex. Under his leadership, LCC has also developed a clear<br />
vision for campus and program development. This includes a more global orientation<br />
and full member into the Round Square international association <strong>of</strong> schools. Prior to<br />
coming to LCC Mr. Shannon served for six years as Headmaster at Stanstead <strong>College</strong> in<br />
Québec’s Eastern Townships. His accomplishments there were numerous and included<br />
building strong modern programmes and significant renewal <strong>of</strong> campus facilities.<br />
Stanstead’s student enrolment also grew significantly and the school operated on a sound<br />
financial footing every year. Prior to leading Stanstead, Chris Shannon spent 14<br />
productive years at Appleby <strong>College</strong> in Oakville, Ontario, where his last position was<br />
Director <strong>of</strong> Academics. A fluently bilingual Montrealer, Chris Shannon graduated from<br />
Selwyn House School in 1975 and from Grade 12 at LCC in 1976, making him the first<br />
alumnus to head <strong>Lower</strong> <strong>Canada</strong> <strong>College</strong>. He pursued his education at Queen’s (B.A.),<br />
Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales – University <strong>of</strong> Geneva (Masters<br />
in History and Politics) and Brock University in Ontario (Masters in Educational<br />
Administration). Chris and his wife Hilary have two university-aged children – Leah<br />
Pre-U ’06 and Matthew ‘07<br />
Chris Ignacio Bromberg (Chair, LCC Parents’ Association)<br />
Chris is the new President <strong>of</strong> the LCC Parent Association after having been on the<br />
LCCPA Executive for the past four years. Her most recent role on the Executive was as<br />
the Junior School Resource Chair for the last two years and the two years prior to that as<br />
the Treasurer. Throughout her years on the Executive she has also chaired the<br />
Grandparents Day Committee and Grad Committee among others. She graduated from<br />
Concordia University with a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Commerce majoring in Finance. She has<br />
worked as an Investment Representative with Scotia McLeod and BMO Nesbitt Burns.<br />
Chris and her husband Craig Bromberg are the happy parents <strong>of</strong> three children at LCC -<br />
Katrina ’15, Alexandra ’18 and Elana Rae ’20.
