American Durafilm® is one of the three original charter members of the DuPont
Teflon® Licensed Industrial Applicator network. We apply a wide range of high
performance Fluoropolymer coatings to solve problems, increase desirable
properties and add value to customer parts.
American Durafilm® is the oldest and most experienced distributor and custom
fabricator of high performance films. We specialize in DuPont Teflon®, Kapton®,
Tedlar®, and Tefzel®. We are the sole stocking distributor of Teflon® FEP and
PFA heat shrink rollcovers by Saint-Gobain as well as carrying Teflon® coated
glass fabrics and Teflon® coated Kevlar®. We can provide polyimide tubing in
sizes from .002” ID up to 6.000” ID, either with or without fluoropolymer topcoats.
Our custom fabrication abilities include Teflon®, Kapton®, Peek®, Tefzel® bags,
thermoforming, die-cutting, heat-sealing, and laminating.

resistance, electrical insulation, chemical and corrosion resistance.

Hitemco Southwest, a DuPont licensed applicator of Teflon® finishes since 1971,
applies all fluorocarbon coatings (PTFE, ECTFE, ETFE, PFA). Electrostatic,
fluidized bed, conventional techniques. Licensed Applicator of Excalibur®
coatings from Whitford. Large part capacity for vessels and tanks; clean room
application facility. Automated coating line; specialty cookware coating; high
volume, small parts production. Exclusive Hiramic abrasion resistant
fluorocarbon systems and metallic thermal spray.
