Reading<br />
Each read operation introduces a potential error<br />
After several reads to the same location, there is some<br />
chance <strong>of</strong> error for consecutive reads from that location.<br />
Writing<br />
Two types <strong>of</strong> operation to facilitate Writing<br />
▪ Set all bits to 1 (Erase)<br />
▪ Set bits from 1 to 0. (Program)<br />
▪ Cannot set bits from 0 to 1, must reset all bits to one (Erase)<br />
To write a block, must erase (set all bits to 1), then<br />
program (set appropriate bits to 0).<br />
To rewrite, must always use the erase program cycle.
