The DRS Gunslinger is the worlds most advanced, all-digital<br />
<strong>spectrum</strong> analysis instrument targeting Low-Probability-of-<br />
Intercept (LPI) signal detection and high-resolution spectral<br />
analysis. It brings together the best capabilities of traditional<br />
continuous swept-tuned analyzers and wideband snapshot<br />
analyzers. Typical applications include ELINT pulse analysis,<br />
short-duration signal detection, general SIGINT signal search and<br />
survey, COMINT demodulation and exploitation, as well as highresolution<br />
multi-bandwidth signal analysis. The Gunslinger also<br />
provides oscilloscope and auto pulse analysis functionality all in<br />
one unit providing operators with a wider range of signal<br />
exploitation capability.<br />
With the demanding signal environment of modern waveforms,<br />
SIGINT collectors require high performance search and survey<br />
systems to monitor Modern Signals Of Interest (SOIs). In the<br />
past, this would require operators to tune receivers, deploy<br />
demodulators, adjust <strong>spectrum</strong> analyzers, and snapshot data<br />
segments of interest for further analysis. In typical operational<br />
scenarios demanding rapid search of large amounts of<br />
bandwidth, an operator can be overwhelmed by a requirement to<br />
search quickly while also conducting detailed analysis of low<br />
Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) and burst signals. This requires<br />
wideband spectral analysis on the order of 100's of MHz, with<br />
operators demanding high-resolution displays to aid in signal<br />
recognition.<br />

GUNSLINGER <strong>500</strong> MHZ REAL-TIME SPECTRUM INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM<br />
The Gunslinger meets and exceeds these requirements using a <strong>real</strong><br />
<strong>time</strong> 64K Weighted Overlap Add Fast Fourier Transform (FFT)<br />
continuously analyzing 5OO MHz of bandwidth. The Gunslinger also<br />
performs digital tuning and down conversion to provide 1 Hz FFT<br />
resolution for analysis of S0I. The Gunslinger also comes in multiple<br />
form factors to meet your application. The Gunslinger can be<br />
configured for up to three displays providing the user with the right<br />
amount of screen <strong>real</strong> estate for their signal analysis needs.
