RAW MATERIAL: MDP and MDF
The exports of garden furniture in solid wood started in 1998
in Latin America and in the following year found its space in the
United States. In a few years Carraro has expanded exports
to all continents and today the brand is present in over 30
countries such as South Africa, Algeria, Argentina, Bolivia,
Cape Verde, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Haiti,
Mozambique, Namibia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, UK, Surinam,
Trinidad, Uruguay, Venezuela.
Carraro is located in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do
Sul, Brazil. In 2011 the company will be celebrating its 50th
anniversary in producing MDF, MDP and tubular furniture for
kitchen, bedroom, home theater, tables and chairs. The factory
area occupies about 131 thousand m2 of area divided among
three industrial units: panels, tubular and planned furniture.
The constant concern with the customer satisfaction was one
of the guidelines for the Certification of Quality System, which
made the company get the ISO certification 9001/94. Carraro
was the first company in the furniture industry to receive this
certification, which is constantly updated, and today it owns the
ISO 9001/2008 version.
