The Southington High
School Girls' team competes in a
10-meet schedule, which runs
from Sept. 16 through Nov. 6 and
includes Fermi, Bristol Central,
Hath Hall, Bulkeley, Conard
Bristol Eastern, Maloney, Ne.wington
and the CCC South Co.nferenee
meet.
She hopes that the girls' team
will learn and develop in the
coming,season. "Swimming is
always learning experiehce," said
Sullivan. "But I didn't learn that

activities or when schools are

• Participants also must bring
series conducted once week for
five weeks, it is designed for those
who are new to the game as well as
experienced golfers who:need to
work on the fundamentals of the
swing..The class will cover the full
swing, approach shots and the
short game. Strategy and the hales
of the game will also be discussed.
This five-hour series is for the
intermediate and dvanced golfer
who wish to improve thg.ir, enjoy-"
ment of the game as well as their
level of play. While the class will
cover di.stanee, accuracy and
to.'12 smderffs per class to insure
optimum student teacher ratio.
Through this training golfers can
expect to achieve" mental control

Classes will be taught by Chet
Dun.lop, Jr., the director of the
New England and ch.ool of Golf.
He was named one of the top
three teachers in the state bY Golf
magazine.
The cost for lessons is $55 for
adults ahd $45 for juniors.
