The Assistant Grand Lecturers of our Districts are so important in seeing that our ritual is
done in a respectable manner. We now have a new ritual which is actually four individual
books. There is also a fifth book which will be printed later containing other material for the
operation of the Chapter. All of the material is printed in English, so there is no excuse in
memorizing it. I thank you for all the time and effort for you have put in this year to make
the ritual better in your districts. It is so important that we do good ritual, and make a good
impression on the candidates.
Grand High Priest Address
“Whence we came and whither are we traveling?”
I am excited about the future of Freemasonry in the State of New York. I say this because
I envision a healthy, spiritual growth within the fraternity that is designed to make a
fraternity that will facilitate its health and lead to the fulfillment of its mission, which is to
take good men and make them spiritually and morally better men.
In order to go forward, we must think on the word "TOGETHERNESS" in order to accomplish
our mission.
Togetherness does not offer a magical fix but calls the fraternity together to do the following:
1. Deepen their appreciation of how they enrich the lives of our Brethren and how it
can strengthen our corporate and personal relations to the Great Architect and to our fraternity.
2. Develop a hunger and broad based involvement in innovations and evolution of our
traditions of Fellowship, Generosity, Charity, Prudence and Leadership.
